I'm wondering if anyone knows the conditions from Rinka waterfall via Turški žleb to Skuta?

Steep it is, steep; otherwise all B.P. Just skim the forum and you'll find everything! Good luck.

... here are some pics for better idea (but in descent direction). But as said, the path is completely dry, aids are impeccable, the upper annoying scree field is like all scree fields (maybe here it's not even that long).

Thanks for all the info, yesterday I checked the conditions via Turški žleb and it went without problem.

Nice greeting! I'm wondering if there's any snow on the path from Kokrsko sedlo to Skuta?

Just one question... how much is the approximate normal walking time from the Skuta summit to Kokrsko sedlo?

Today we chose a tour starting at the cargo cableway. Past Češka koča up to Mlinarsko sedlo and continued over Dolgi hrbet. Climbing section over Dolgi hrbet in good condition suitable for hikers with some experience. Reached the top of Dolgi hrbet in still clear weather, then thick fogs moved towards us over Grintovec. Still we climbed Dolgi hrbet and went to Skuta where fog enveloped us at times. Without a long stop we returned via lower path under Dolgi hrbet to Mlinarsko sedlo then to Češka koča. Path under Dolgi hrbet over scree not very visible at times. Despite not the best views we did a very nice tour where we met no many hikers, sadly no chamois. At Češka koča they are preparing for 110th hut anniversary. Regards

Today to Skuta from K. Bistrica. Path extremely nice, plenty of elevation meters, magnificent views from the summit.

Planned trip to Škrlatica postponed due to new snow so to KSA no sign of snow. Saturday afternoon to Kamniško sedlo from Kamniška Bistrica, over Turska gora to bivouac under Skuta, overnight there. Morning to Skuta, descend back to Male pode, up to Kranjska rinka then also Križ Koroška rinka, demanding descent to Kranjska koča na Ledinah. Excellent nice tour though demanding due descents and ascents. Path to Skuta from small pode technically demanding. Path from Koroška rinka to Ledine extremely demanding technically and exposure. And some pics.

On Sunday at 6 a.m. I started at Rinka waterfall. To GRS hut I warmed up nicely (and cooled with Savinja) and headed towards Turski žleb. There was no real crowd yet, sun already warming my back and on Mali podi I meet some other hikers. Meanwhile I take photos, admire the view, mists also slowly gathering over the mountain tops. On Skuta summit at half past eight I snack, photo, sunbathe and "check weather". Clouds gathering and would spoil view on another summit, so head down to refresh at Savinja source. Maybe tour too short, but I'll fix tomorrow.

2.5 hours to Skuta summit from below Rinka waterfall. Fast huh? I needed whole 5 hours, wasn't dawdling. LP

Actually no big emphasis on time in my comment, but stated hour holds. At 11 back at car under waterfall. Constant pace regardless of slope, shows a bit. PS: wrote mainly so people see clouds covered K-S A peaks very soon, despite clear weather forecast
