Nice tour, Lunatixz! Picture 11 shows the bench above Gamsov Skret. Did you go down there (lower variant)? What's the condition of the cable? Last year I read somewhere it's torn...

Yes, descended via Gamsov Skret. Cable in good condition, i.e. repaired.

Already more than five years? I last went there on 16 October 2016, almost exactly five years ago, the cable was already quite old and a bit torn... But anyway, it's nice that it's new now!

20.7.2016 the cable was already replaced. If memory serves me right, I already knew for some time back then that it was so.

There are two cables. The upper one, which is in the scree, is still old, but both mainly do their job.

Somewhere on this page it's mentioned that there are protections also over Žmavcarji. Around 21.9. this year the last cable (over the step above the grasses) was completely torn.

Hello,
has anyone been to Skuta via Žmavčarje and then to the saddle in the last few days? I'm interested in the path condition, are the markers visible or is everything still under snow?
