Less than two hours. Špela, up to Špik hude police as soon as possible, you won't regret it.

Road to Planina Pecol is normally passable. Path to the summit is trodden, only ice axe and crampons are needed. Snow starts a few meters below hut Brazza.

No tracks anywhere, also too little snow. Even for "bratove" skis too bare.

On skis to the initial southern slopes, in the sun and hardly any wind. When it was no longer possible on skis, I equipped myself and through direct passages toward the summit. Conditions fairly stable. Four more were ascending ahead of me, but they went more to the right, three turned back, one joined my tracks and went to the top.
I descended the ascent route and then skied one nice run nearby.

Beautiful Majdaq, I always like to go there. Still waiting for me is unconquered Strma peč and the whole Ceria-Merlone, which I only did halfway.

.. Skalaš, I agree, good company, Velkavrh, we did all three routes in 2013: Leva path, Ceria Merlone and Anita Goitan, of course in two days. All super, easiest for me was Ceria Merlone. Nice in these parts.

Above Rifugio Brazza we followed a fairly new signpost (I think) for bivouac Luca V, then at one left bend where there's also a small cairn, turned right onto an unmarked path directly towards Škrbina nad Tratico. The little path is quite followable, here and there gets lost a bit, but not for long and continuation quickly found. A few times need to take hands out of pockets and grab rock, otherwise no major issues. That on steep grass need to be careful, everyone knows. The path for our taste much nicer, more pleasant and more picturesque than the "classic" mulatiera to ŠHP. And above all solitary and sneaky (info for those who like that, like us). Then, after looking steeply down to Zajzero from Škrbina nad Tratico and after one or two hours "loading" vitamin D  , we descended back to Ceria Merlone path and continued to the summit of Špik Hude police. Descended the usual path. Fun, recommend as variation to all who like to return to these areas and this nice viewpoint…
