Teenagers can really surprise you. Our teenager who's been skipping mountain hikes for a while also stood on Storžič on the 18th. Not in family setup... anyway it seemed super to me

Yesterday the snowy view from Jezersko towards Ledine deterred me from going further. After a short deliberation, I decided to go to Storžič instead. Excellent decision.
In very pleasant company, I reached the summit with a foggy view. No snow, trail in excellent condition, straight into action. Autumn crept into the mountains, gloves and hat very welcome.

Today up the gully and back via Škarjev rob. Through the gully dry, only last 100-150m nasty rock/snow/ice combo. Needs attention. Ridge dry but foggy. One hiker ahead turned before nasty bit per tracks.
Back via Škarjev rob. Start OK then surprisingly much snow no tracks. Demanding descent using axe, no crampons because of lots of rocks, scramble snow then rock. Nice tour spiced by snow & fog.

Viharnik made us crave it and today we took the same path, only it was sunny from the very start. On top just a little windy, otherwise fantastic.

Today Storžič was excellent as were all peaks around. View wonderful, little snow. Up through Žrelo down via Škarjev zob, when I first stepped on some snow. Super

Congratulations to both on the tour and I believe you enjoyed it as I did yesterday. Storžič probably had a bit more visitors on Saturday.

Viharnik, I'd swap today's for your yesterday's. Today there was no sea of clouds below us, that's what I like best.
