Gita's pictures, pure 10/10. I'd most gladly head up there once more right away. Nice.

I know I'm risking getting a bad reputation as an irredeemable apologist, but anyway. This time it was about the first landing on top of Triglav. So a one-time achievement that no one has managed before. The guy did something first! It was about pushing the boundaries of the possible. Who of us has done anything first in the world? The machine won't rattle around the summit every day (like the KFOR helicopter or the tourist panoramic plane). In my opinion it's much less harmful than snowmobiles on Velika Planina. Maybe the knowledge and experience he gained with this landing will come in handy for someone someday. And so no one thinks I'm defending him for personal interests. I met the machine for the first time this Monday on top of Triglav. But I already respected him before as an engineer and entrepreneur. Of course that weekend on Dobrča is not to his credit.

****Žan says:**** This time it was the first landing on top of Triglav. So a unique achievement that no one has managed so far. The guy did something for the first time! It was about pushing the boundaries of possible.********* No, Žan, Stroj isn't the only 'genius' in our country who could pull this off. Others who could just respect regulations and some rules of common living. ****Žan says:**** Who of us has done anything first in the world?********* Well, sure, someone of us has done some stupidity first. Maybe not in the world (since probably someone lands a helicopter on some unusual spot there too), but in Slovenia, our environment. What stupid things I did as a kid, lots of stuff first in kindergarten or school... So what, I was a dude! Some people are such kids all their life.

With us, you have to beat everyone up. Even Boscarol and similar ones who receive high awards in the world. That's the only right Slovenian way! Beat them!!

OK let there be anarchy, everyone can do what they want! But then it should apply to all not just the chosen ones.

Gita, beautiful pics. And nicely written. My son is up there today too. We just talked and he has another 15 min or so from the top down to Kredarica. I'm "fouš" to all of you for these wonderful experiences. Next year me too.

Sadly VanSims' arguments don't reach the quality needed to continue the debate.

Triglav my home, which the Dolič hut pollutes. Yeah yesterday on the way from Zadnjica I smell strange smells. I suspect something's leaking at Dolič, when I get to the hut suspicion confirmed. Fecal discharge when closing the hut. And what's with the sewage system. Yeah not everything's nice on the way to Triglav.

Descent down to Plemenice is a tough one, already up it's quite tense. Last time when we started still in slight dark towards Luknja it was a bit wet and of course cold on the cables and pegs at the beginning. Higher it was ok. Bravo!

@nata nice. Interesting loop you did. This by my estimate took around 10 hours, rather more.

Žan... sorry, you don't reach and don't grasp minimum discussion standards... I fully understand you if Stroj pays you or is the sponsor of your "intentional misunderstanding" so you push into something he shouldn't do... So your "forcing" of this unpleasant event has no value nor worth mentioning and it's waste of every word if you put anything on it!

I don't really know why Franci landed on Triglav, the appropriate authorities will deal with it and I think the outrage on the forum is completely unnecessary. But I'd expect someone who comments to be a bit informed about certain things. Almost all 15th HEB SV helicopters have KFOR written on them, even those rescuing in our mountains all year, and why KFOR, because they fly missions to Kosovo with them and before that in Bosnia. Planika is supplied by Flaycom. Anyway yes, those panoramic flights around Triglav annoy me too, if they did one circle ok, but some do 3-4.

IgorZlodej 5.10.2011 ......you see, you see dude, that rascal who landed on Triglav on Monday was already flying around Planika on Sunday. And since they were already packing up on Sunday, I thought he was supplying them too. In short, not only on Monday but the day before too, on Sunday he was already flying in the core area of TNP, of course without permission.

@Irina,
and the rest who love peace, silence, tranquility these are mountains in a more primal form. Huts are closing, crowds have grown tired, larches turning yellow... and now it's our turn "romantics" who don't care much for harder, higher, faster but for beautiful, calm, pristine (somewhat pristine)

Hello! I agree with "turbo", some of us will soon prepare skis. When the first half meter of snow falls, then "harness the dogs" )and head off on pathless tracks of solitary mountains. Romantics are waiting.
