What stupidities are we going to do more on Triglav just for the sake of own worthless promotion.

Revoke the flying license right away and a fine for such violation of regulations....even Podlunšek wasn't allowed to fly under the Drava bridge though he's a bigger flying ace than this one with that lousy little helicopter....and what point would there be to landing on Triglav? None, just empty bragging of those tycoons

This one is extra class caliber, he already proved it with that illegal weekend of his on Dobrča!

metod... I also know that Stroj saved himself by jumping from the helicopter because his last screw came off... so....

Stroj didn't deserve such spitting! He's already flown a lot over our hills, brought lots of useful stuff to various huts, got seriously shaken twice - many would give up flying in his place. Yesterday morning he parked his helicopter at Planika and walked to the summit. There he took a tape measure and carefully measured the landing space. That's completely true, because I watched in surprise what the old guy was doing with the meter on top of Triglav. From the precision of those measurements I conclude it's not so simple to land on top.

To me Triglav doesn't seem any less worthy because of this, since Stroj landed on it with a helicopter. But do you know the rules on helicopter landings? Can one land only at certain points? Are those points predefined? What's the reason for such a harsh attack on Stroj? Well, maybe I'm a bit biased, because he seems honest to me. I have a purely personal experience with him - when we wanted to install solar cells on the roof, he said it wouldn't pay off for us due to tree shade. But the craftsmen had already done useless things just to cash in.

A paraglider who started at Kredarica and landed in Krma got a 1000 eur fine from TNP, I'm curious what fine Stroj got, because Triglav summit also isn't a registered take-off/landing area.

The fact is Stroj has no business up there regardless of his merits and daring, that's all... it's not an attack on him but that he should respect regulations! and what do some want to prove now including Stroj...??? that some can do anything while others are peasants? I suggest stopping such news that serve no one! He can fly his helicopter wherever with me, just respect regulations!!!!

Maybe someone interested in ascent tonight to Triglav to see sunrise, possible from Vrata via Tominšekova or easier-shortest from Krma.

Does Triglav show any bad damage? Did rocks fall from the top? Did it blow the flag off the tower? No, he caused absolutely no damage. As I said, the guy climbed to the top on foot before landing. He wasn't the only one flying a drone in the sky around Triglav either. That morning at least two other helicopters and at least one tourist plane were flying around there. A big military helicopter (KFOR!) made a full circle around the top, I'm quite sure it was on a real responsible military mission.

it's not about carrying away material, but about causing unnecessary (and prohibited) noise right in the heart of tnp.

If it's just about the noise problem, then the most annoying is the tourist plane offering panoramic flights around Triglav. On a nice day it shows up at least every hour and there's no benefit from it.

TNP Act: In the national park area it is prohibited: - to fly aircraft below 1000 feet (304.8 meters) above the highest current point or obstacle during flight, except for maintenance and supply needs of facilities under conditions specified in the management plan, for ensuring national defense, protection, rescue and assistance in natural and other disasters, performing police tasks, scientific research activities and meteorological service, and with the consent of the national park manager to perform geodetic, film, video and documentary recording of the national park. By the principle of advocating law-breaking I could tomorrow go to Triglav National Park and build a weekend house, new hotel and apartment settlements, waste dumps, power plants, drive a motorbike through the forest etc, etc. But I won't, because Triglav National Park means something to me!

Žan 4.10.2011 Sorry, I can't agree with you. The machine is a "poor thing" that has to keep desecrating the mountain world to remind of its existence. If he were really such a benefactor those he helped would speak up. Also PD Gorje, in whose jurisdiction Planika is, should think about who they will hire for supplying next season. The machine certainly doesn't deserve us all paying for it with our memberships. Mountaineers certainly aren't supporters of such scoundrels. Such actions should be loudly and clearly condemned. Especially because thousands of euros of our money were wasted just so that a few years ago they finally "kicked him out" of the illegally built weekend house in the protected part of our mountains. And, so as not to desecrate this portal too, I think it's not worth mentioning him anymore.
