If anyone is going hiking tomorrow, it's really nice from Krma, to the top of Kalvarija no snow, crampons not needed up, but I warmly recommend them for down - from Kredarica to Kalvarija, better feeling, today was 100% clear, no wind, I recommend to all, Triglavski jumped again to Triglav - he's really cool, no mistake because I praise him, I know him from the forum and met him up there

@skorny, your info is verified. That's how Kredarica and the whole gang looked today. And the gang in close-up. I would even paste it but I'm afraid of some thumbs down.zavijanje z očmi

In these days it's really nice in the mountains, but at the highest even nicer. Skorny and serajko already said something, so nothing essential to add. Conditions to the top are good, nice to meet friends, the real ones, like skorny, and Jože and Franci. Weekend will be nice, so... enjoy.

First plus to each for the contribution and right away to the sweetness of your photos.
Nice when many roam the high mountains and bring home a piece of what you experienced. And so we experience winter in mountains too, those waiting for new summer.

On Thursday 24.11. my buddy and I visited Triglav. Weather without a cloud, blowing like crazy. In short, wonderful.
For access to the summit, even more for descent, crampons and ice axe obligatory (except for some suicide), otherwise the path is quite well trodden.
Good luck to all going up this weekend.

Well, us Styrians also need to recharge the batteries sometimes. Because of this fog, they've almost completely emptied, so we need to head somewhere higher. Wife agrees. Decision made to at least hike to Kredarica, but days are short now, so early rise needed. And so it was. 5am start from Krma, full speed to Kredarica and since conditions were really good, I pull her to the top of Triglav, where two Croats already await me, thrilled by the beautiful view.
Conditions are similar to previous days/weeks and not changing much.
Batteries full again for the next few days.nasmeh
Regards.

This week two days in Austria, one in Italy, in the mountains of course, so it was fitting to do one of our Slovenian peaks too. Morning in Zadnjica not particularly cold. Check conditions a bit and decide for Luknja. Path is dry of course. On Luknja wind from the coastal side, greet a lady sitting in lee on Gorenjska side. Turn up into rocks towards Plemenice. Path still dry all way to north face ridge. Here and there some small snow, no trouble. Below last chimney put on crampons, right decision, wire cable area mostly dry, exit as it should be this time, snowy. Of course not on final ridge, but below and on ZTP slope. Snow dry, holds weight well, walking pure pleasure. Oh, no one walked up there, no tracks at least. Over Bovška škrbina nicely snowy, slab poor in snow, more rock than snow. Only summit part snowy again. On arrival at top no onenasmeh, then met three climbing from Kredarica direction and overtook two descending. Down to Kredarica snow missing here and there, almost all fixed protections out, poles quite worn. At Kredarica greet Rado and Janez. Rado reports yesterday evening rescue on Rž (yes, good to have full gear and know the route), and group from NG was there, all on this forum, pity they rushed to Krmazadrega. Well I didn't linger, long way waiting: down valley below Kredarica, past Planika hut and Dolič hut to Zadnjica. When at Na Logu in Trenta, Triglav summit still glowing in sun. What to say at end, fun. Never had such dry conditions end of November, nor such a warm daynasmeh.

there are tracks over Bovška škrbina, apparently two from Tolmin were up there last weekend8

The summit is already close.10
In Ljubljana there was still fog, later also sun, but this Stolp, that's something beautiful.11
I'm going to visit a friend at Kredarica.12
At Kredarica it's always nice.13
Although I'm going to the valley, now I have to go up towards Planika.14
Also at Planika it's nice, especially if there are 100 women up there.15
Triglav from below Šmarjetna glava.16

Just like the Styrians, mom and I left Krma at 5am, saw only dust behind them, they rushed to Kredarica..nasmeh
Towards Triglav conditions mixed, snow ok some places, almost none others, some already badly eroded and south-facing by noon, just where no cables, so caution recommended.
