Hello, since nice weather is forecasted for the weekend my wife and I are thinking of heading to Triglav together with our six-year-old daughter. Let me tell you, the daughter really likes the mountains and isn't afraid of heights at all. We're wondering if it's smart for the daughter to have her own crampons or if it's enough if I have her tied to the rope. Last week we were at Viševnik and she had no problems at all.

I'm reading what came out of one simple question....and this is not the first time.
I thought the purpose of the forum is that everyone can ask what interests them and get advice from others.
Not everyone has experience and here they can get answers from experienced people and learn from their advice. But lately for every "stupid" question everyone gets a verbal attack...
This way people will stop asking and will still carry out their venture, which can only lead to more accidents.
I don't understand why it's necessary to attack everyone immediately, no nice words...this site is not meant for competing who knows more, boosting ego etc.
You can answer with advice, or discourage...with normal words, not like: I would shoot everyone etc. We all learn and this forum is really handy for all the questions we have, especially for people like me who don't have much experience and it has often helped me.
They always said: smart people ask, fools already know everything
