In the mountains nothing's free! If you don't want to pay for a guide, go to an alpinist course, then you'll easily go alone as you please. I did it, and I still take a guide sometimes, so even in "tricky bits" I can enjoy worry-free.

Regarding the quick agreement, we only realized in broad daylight that the road to Krma is quite passable. Dry snow on the trodden track crunched nicely, the sun above Draški vrhovi was quite considerate so we weren't too hot. Tea at the best lads was too hot, so we cooled it down to head to the top as soon as possible. LG already described the conditions and I can only agree with him.
The way back is long, but no longer than up  .
