What's the path condition on Rjavina and then to Triglav via Rž? Is winter gear needed? I mean the path from Kot valley?

Hello,
I'm also interested in the condition on Tominškova, is it normally passable? To the valley we'd go via cmirom as a day trip. What's the condition on this path? Has anyone gone recently, is the path already visible? (markers)
We'd go next week on Thursday?

On Sunday the path over Plemenice was dry. Snow was on Triglavske police and in T. škrbina. I used an ice axe. lp
That was it on Sunday at the T. foothills.1
These two foreigners were without ice axe. Due to the steepness and south snow, it's good to have it.2

I was there on Tuesday, no snow on the path or just one spot with snow, which poses no problem. Attaching picture. Second picture shows snow patches on Triglavski Podi.

Hello, this Saturday a trip to Triglav (Tominškova route) is planned. Please provide some information on current conditions and perhaps ask experienced people about the weather, because every day shows different weather conditions for Triglav (maybe better to postpone this weekend?). Thanks in advance for help. Best regards

From the official ARSO site:

On Saturday it will be sunny and hot, some afternoon storm will be more likely especially in the mountains.

Saturday morning will obviously still be nice, and since the heat wave has not lasted long yet, the air at high altitudes is not yet completely overheated (temps at 2500m around 10, by Saturday maybe one degree more). Afternoon then of course, possibility of storms. If there is a significant possibility of storms in the afternoon (which is obviously the case), then the possibility that the summits will be in clouds is much greater. And with summits in clouds it is such that the higher the summit, the greater the possibility that a cloud will stick to it. And there are no higher ones than Triglav here nasmeh.

So up early, and everything will be fine. And if at Kredarica it looks like rain is preparing, don't go further. It is rarely so horrific as being on the summit of a mountain when thunder starts. Especially mountains with so much metal on them like Triglav nasmeh

If you go in the morning, e.g. at 3am then you can be back well before 12, depending on how fast you are, and you don't have to fear storms at all. Usually at this time of year it gets dark before the hut in upper Krma, so you have light for only a good half hour.

Of course. Then you are completely safe from storms, but on the way back you kill yourself on the road when you fall asleep at the wheel. Question, what is more dangerous.

respect to all mountain lovers. On Saturday we plan to go to Kredarica - Triglav we went from Krma valley, which path is more attractive in terms of views and landscape Tominškova path or from Rudno polje. Thanks for the information

Thanks for the information. It's just because it's planned to overnight at Dolič on the first day (so first up to the summit and then to 2100m on the same day, expected arrival at Dolič around 16h) and then early on Sunday continue the path towards Triglav Lakes and Komarča valley to Bohinj Lake.
A friend is going with me, who will have such an experience for the first time nasmeh

@gigi6

Tominškova is much nicer than Rudno Polje. But Saturday afternoon storm risk, so start the path very early.

Tominšek's path to Kredarica goes from Vrata valley, past the monument then left up, from Rudno polje the path is past Konšćica alpine pasture, over Studorski preval, to Vodnikov dom, to Planika, or to Kredarica and so on...............

I heard that this year they charge parking in Vrata valley. Is it true? Last year they didn't.

3.5 euros. Very reasonable price, especially compared to Bohinj robbery...
