The soggiest part was the known upper flank of Mali Triglav, where snow was softened to a depth of some ten cm, below a thick hard and completely safe base and the ice axe had max grip.

Triglav from Krma (08.05.21)

You can drive calmly to Kovinarska koča and park there. From Lesa onwards we just watched, since we only put on skis at Pleši (above the forest). It rained previous days almost up to 1900m. For walkers the soggy crust was collapsing, probably not pleasant. We went right to keep height and climbed under Rž above the winter calvary. The traverse path has good base, 3cm already softened pršič. That's all from precipitation, from 2000m to Kredarica there was 3-5cm new snow. Where they measured more than half meter of new snow probably only God knows. Conditions to the top today (Saturday) were excellent. Traverses were hard, ascent to Mali Triglav was even better now in May than mid-winter. Further along the ridge to the top is old classic, nicely snow-covered ridge. Descent for beer and great ski down the summer upper variant to Konjsko sedlo, and over kurica to Pleše. Shame we didn't come here in the morning in sneakers. It was a great day, but these days due to heat conditions surely won't be so good.

With car you drive to P, maybe need to be a bit careful at 3 places if it's lower.
Snow starts a bit above tree line and yesterday night it was ideal for walking. To Kredarica without winter gear, only put it on before going to top. Lots of snow on first meteorological summer day, some fixed cables are already out and ease movement. Sun power is already very strong, so snow softens quickly and for safe path early hour is needed.
