redbull thanks for super pics!! So conditions from Krma to Kredarica good for walkers?? Does it sink too much?

To tell the truth it's like that two more are going with snowshoes (treading down) and it will be made for walkers. Recommend snowshoes or wait at least next weekend or at least to Sunday this weekend.

Hm, did you do a snow profile to know conditions were excellent? And safe? Maybe more profiles, slopes change and quite a few meters build up in height too, so not necessarily same avalanche conditions whole ascent?

Bojan, thought you (informal) been here many times. Where could be dangerous would be really ridiculous to do profile. It was for crampons. Why has anyone been buried here yet, during snowfall and meter new then carefree it's dangerous.

One week ago it was plowed to Pocarjeva homestead and at the end cleared enough for about 10 parking spots.

Today's conditions:
Park at Krma start by Pocarjeva farm. Foresters dragged road further km, but it worsens and no parking at end. Road has plastic car parts from those who pushed too far.
Track and ski track laid, morning both hard as concrete. Put crampons on at shepherd hut. Foot track to Triglav top, most protections out. Snow in traverse bit crumbly, if trip hard to stop with axe pick.

Wind strengthened, cold set in, road dry to Zasipska planina. Super forecast, so yesterday a bit after seven already stepping into fresh morning. Total about 10 cars stranded along path, expected some company. But none; on path, in hut, on mountain handful people. Conditions for walking excellent, no need for steps but on nice hard white. Friendly soldier brews last tea for me, few mins later flies to valley for deserved rest. Dump unnecessary things from backpack and head into quite demanding climb of Mali Triglav, as steps locally very destroyed.
Higher it was nicer, disturbed by strong rare gusts of wind, especially on ridge section where no cable. On summit very short time, as I have bad experiences with frozen fingers. mrk pogled

Visibility fantastic. Descent to K. took much more time than ascent, but took lots of photos in between as there were moments of complete calm. Towards Krma just softened enough to sink to ankles and return was real treat.
