Yeah, that 5th picture is, from my memory, from somewhere around 40 years ago. How it looks today is clearly shown above in the 2nd picture - almost nothing usable is left...

Maybe he gets a neighbor who will demolish the bunker for his own peace. They say that's how it's done if someone or something bothers you.
And Lojz isn't a bad guy at all. Just from the side of the authorities, he should be equally limited in his rights as we others are. That's the most annoying in my opinion.

He must have smashed well to demolish everything, the guy from the parish. How long did it take him? But it's interesting what the hell bothered him about it. If he were smart he could have fixed up the interior of Morbegna. As much as he smashed, he could have made a palace out of it. I don't know the original stuff because I'm not of that generation. Lojz is a good guy, but what the hell bothered him about it?

There was some talk that someone would renovate the thing and make a shelter, but that didn't suit the neighboring Kredarica??? But these are just rumors...

PS: For a couple of years it's been known that this huge barracks was called the Triglav Barracks of Victor Emmanuel III.
The military hut Morbegna (which "cooked up" this mistake), was much further south, closer to Triglav. During the operation of the barracks, the hut had already collapsed.

I'll write to Rok to correct the entry.

That's how his work looked in summer 2018 when I was there.
He kept the wooden part of the building for himself (probably for heating), some stones he saved for us as a souvenir.

@Savinja 11
I completely agree with your comment, as you wrote everything as it is. And so I won't be the only one on the forum commenting negatively.
But I'm really curious if they updated anything about making tea, or do they still pull it with a string from the kitchen ...

I also don't think it's right that someone on their own whim demolishes/changes historical remains. Obviously the demolition of the object was in someone's interest, otherwise I can't imagine they would allow one individual to do it.

Definitely there's some interest. It wouldn't have been overlooked just like that.

Obviously Lojz didn't tire himself enough at the ironworks and has still enough strength for such foolishness. Probably someone in TNP likes it that way too, since there's no logic that someone who parks a bit awkwardly gets a fine from TNP guard, this gentleman does whatever he wants in TNP (even private bivouac) and nothing happens. Destroying historical objects (which this is) is a criminal offense under our legislation. Obviously only for some! What do they say about this in TNP !!?? LP TONE.

They say they'll arrange electricity for him to charge his phone. Double standards and all that.

Years ago in debate: When I asked the official who was at the meeting where they talked about renovating Morbegna, why the conclusion that it's not renovated? Answer through gritted teeth was-Because it's 5m too high-2520m. Whose interest and who stands behind all this everyone can answer themselves. Answer if it's true can only be given by participants of that meeting.

@mirank- bravo. Well, participants of that meeting, report yourselves and give comment. I from distant Styria, if possible, would definitely rather overnight at that end than at feces-stinking Kredarica.coolvelik nasmehmrk pogled
