We are going to the mountains for three days and this ascent from Planika via Škrbina to the summit will be the last ascent.
The plan is...
1. day (2.8.2026.) - Aljažev dom - Škrlatica - Križ - Stenar - Pogačnikov dom
2. day (3.8.2026.) - Pogačnikov dom - Luknja - Plemenice - visit to former barracks - Planika
3. day (4.8.2026) - Planika - Triglav via Škrbina (night ascent to catch the sunrise) - descent on the western side - Kugyjeve police - Aljažev dom via Prag or Tominškova.

All nice and good, Kruno. Only the fixed date bothers me. You don't go to the sea in any weather, let alone to the mountains. Anyway, I hope it turns out well for you. But by no means go up in bad weather.

Given that this spring is probably fed from the lower lake I think the spring should have water (~3 weeks ago when I was there it still did). Otherwise you can get water in the toilet in the hut. I've been filling it there for a few years and it's all ok.

Yesterday and today, my younger son and I set off into the Triglav kingdom.
Already upon arrival in Krrma, I was surprised by the crowd of cars, some had tickets today because they parked on the grass. Well, the crowd was everywhere, on the road, on the path, in the huts, on the top. rolling

The nicest was walking on the path from Prgarca to Staničev dom, where only marmots and cows kept us company. After an interesting sunset, we also greet the sun in the morning and have breakfast in the crowd at Kredarica. To Mali Triglav we also find some solitude for a photo, but at the top in line for the obligatory souvenir shot. tongue

We descend towards Planika and back to Krrma, where a helicopter was circling. confused

Weather ideal for hiking, some wind, but not too much, later I find out that desert sand spoiled the better views. angry

And a bit about the prices in the huts, at Stanič ričet and beans with meat 14 € and you get bread with it, štruklji 14 €, apple strudel 7 €, at Planika goulash 18 € (4 pieces of meat) and Carniolan sausage 14 €, both without bread, piece of bread 1 €, house dessert (grmada and panna cotta) 8 €, at both huts isotonic 7.5 € ... the experience with my son is priceless. smile
