When I last wanted pasja radost, the saleswoman said that this isn't a pet shop

Maybe she'd understand if I ordered "kilometer wurst".

They say they're going in the right direction. This one is really good.

https://www.24ur.com/novice/slovenija/v-vratih-nov-prometni-rezim-koliksna-bo-parkirnina.html The funniest thing is, there's so much talk about using public transport which is free, or that we should hike to Triglav and surrounding mountains from Mojstrana on foot. I'm really curious who knows where in Mojstrana there's free parking? At all parking lots in Mojstrana you have to pay at least 10€ for the whole day, in Kranjska Gora 15€, for Bohinj it's not even worth talking. So much for free public transport.

"In this regard, she explained that the municipality must ensure to cover all costs arising from public transport to the valley, and costs they have with establishing the system" - loosely translated to Kranjska Gora style, they created a problem (costs) and are looking for a funding source by fleecing visitors. Only with us... Btw, how come no one thinks to ask by what key the Kranjska Gora mafiosi appropriated the road to Vrata which was asphalted by the state. Only with us, otherwise.

No, we're not in the Balkans. The standard is set by those we elect ourselves. That's the problem. I was recently in Croatian Istria. Nowhere did they fleece me and prices were more reasonable, for a higher level of offer than with us.

There are many mafiosi among our politicians, as well as among mayors.

If they can cash in on the coast, they can also here in Gorenjska. Are we any less worthy? I support it. Even without you freeloaders we'll live comfortably from tourism.

They've driven away half of the guests, visitors and if anyone thinks that rich people will support such fleecing they're wrong. You can see in the middle of the day how everything is half empty, but journalists and others write how everything is fully booked. Here you see that there are many liars in our country.

"If they can cash in on the coast, they can also here in Gorenjska. Are we any less worthy? " How would you feel if they charged you 25 EUR when you come to Ljubljana (or any other larger city)? Are we in Ljubljana any less worthy than you in Gorenjska? "Even without you freeloaders we'll live comfortably from tourism" Yeah, until the next crisis. Then again crying and moaning and help from the state.

On the coast they don't charge everywhere. Sunday there. 50m to the sea, a bit less to the bike and walking path. Free, gratuitamente, kostenlos. Those coins meant for parking, I of course left in the snack bar, added some more and gladly. Of course the parking is legal and legitimate, marked with white lines. It's good to get along well with locals, but sadly not everywhere

In my opinion PZS will drop the parking fee to 1 euro for you, and you'll all be happy.

It's possible they'll make it higher, because this year they had quite an empty parking lot. It's possible that at say 15 EUR it would be full and more revenue.

For me, this part from the above 24ur article is also interesting: "A novelty will also be that the first hour is free, meaning someone can drop off hikers at the starting point and then return for them." But wasn't the official reason for high parking fees and barriers always "protecting pristine nature"? With this novelty the car will drive the road to Vrata 4x instead of 2x. Haha very ecological

And not only that, such a regime is for passing tourists, once we called them day-trippers. They come, take pics, maybe drink something and go. That's ecological too, oh yeah
