I agree with mayda. Yesterday I was on Rinka via Turkish gully and it goes without issues. I warmly recommend a very early start due to afternoon thaw and sinking on descent from gully.

Was yesterday in Turkish gully, slept in winter room, started early to gully. Snow for ascent excellent, except before exit, ca 15 cm powder since Sunday. Exit and to TG covered in powder, walk carefully. Descent mushy with sinking, esp lower descent part (scree). Weather ideal, gully cold, rest too hot. Recommend. Few more weeks while conditions, start early. We at 7 to gully, needed earlier. Besides us only one more Janez, nobody else, peace and quiet...

Nice greeting,

maybe someone recently (say this weekend) hiked around Turska gora and Rinka?

I'd be grateful for some piece of information, what's the situation around there, especially interested in Turski gully if there's still some snow inside.

Last Sunday still quite some snow in gully, definitely ice axe and crampons necessary for gully, as probably some cable section under snow...

Today's conditions in Turkish gully. On the path to the gully there is snow but no problem. Higher up, the more snow as you climb. Cables and pegs are bare, without fog and wind it would be dreamy. At the exit from the secured part I turned back, without winter gear I didn't want to risk it, as stuff was constantly rolling and sliding down the gully. Okrešelj hut is closed.
View of Rinka waterfall1
They replaced part of the ladder above the waterfall2
On the path - cross in the rock?!3
Do I have to into this fog? - view towards Turski žleb4
Towards the part where the secured section starts - a bit icy5
The wall is dry6
In the wall - pegs and cables are wet and slippery7
Need to be careful not to slip into a fissure8
I returned through the snow - caution9
After exiting the gully a beautiful view to Okrešelj and ... opened10

Believe me, you won't go via ferrata, snow covers it. Pointless to ask about snow conditions a week or more ahead.zavijanje z očmi

Conditions are solid. Got through without problems and on to Turska gora. Towards the top of the gully it's icy so caution is advised.

If anyone has any pics taken from Okrešelj valley towards Ostenje Rink, precisely Turska gora, I highly recommend if you can upload it here or to my private message. Many thanks!

With Maret we left home at 5am, ensuring daylight start of hike. Planned ascent to Turska gora via one route. Drive ended at Dom planincev, road plowed to Logarski kot but tire tracks too deep for car.

To Okrešelj fairly without issues on skis, snow felt like walkers wouldnt struggle much at early hour. Followed two skiers track, occasionally foot gaz only downhill (prob one skier). Above Okrešelj decide to turn to Bela piramida. Snow good initially but soon sinking to knees. Skinning took lots of time and around 10am joined Tschad snowfields. These nice in sun producing 1m rotten snow, reason enough to turn.
