Today we set off from Ivarčkega along the Železarska path to Uršlja gora. Above the bridge snow and ice begin. Both disappear when the path goes through the forest. We descended via Grofovška, which is drier.

Night hike across Uršlja gora.
I met Stefan before the agreed time and we started in Zerjav. Nice, dry and clear night accompanies us on the path. At Ledine the supplier kindly speaks to us, if he can serve us something. We had all supplies with us. Romana accompanied us with the car. The path was entirely snow-free and dry, except above Luža a few ice patches, so we quickly got to the car at Križan. Lp.

Yesterday we first drove to Poštarski dom and then went on the path over Kozarnica to Uršlja gora. The path was interesting, lots of hikers and very many forest mice jumping and hiding among roots and leaves. At the top we looked also inside the church of St. Ursula, which is nicely arranged. We returned on the path over Kal, which dragged a bit towards the end. Later we drove by car also to Ivarčko lake, where there was a pleasant May 1 atmosphere. Lp

Today I went again to check the steepness of the path to Uršlja gora via Kozarnica. Of course nothing different, sweat still flows behind pants, especially in today's heat. Mice also here fly all around, just jump too quick into their den. At the top as always all in bloom.

From hut at Smrekovec, past ridge, Križan to Uršlja gora, over Ledine to Zerjav.
The hike took place in fairly warm weather. At the mountain in the hut we surprised the keeper otherwise also friend at dinner. We exchanged some words, then we two headed to Natural meadows. From there into forest turn on headlamps and descend to road for Zerjav. On road put in car things we no longer need. Wearing sneakers we run in slow tempo to Zerjav to place where we last night all started, meanwhile agree for repeat K24. Whole loop for us also this time despite easier conditions on path, wonderfully succeeded. Lp

first time on Uršlja gora. Up the ironworkers path. When we got to the top the sun was already setting. One chat with the hutkeeper and then to sleep.
Dawn descent down... we wanted to go down another path but still went back the same one. And then to Austria... that's a topic for some long thread
The path itself is steep and fitness is needed but the path is nowhere demanding. Uršlja is now the highest mountain that I have conquered hiking. And it is beautiful...

Sleme, Križan Uršlja gora, Naravske ledine Zerjav.
To Križan quite some elevation meters throw up. Here we change shoes, take things that we will need now to the top and also later on descent. Somewhere around Naravske ledine darkness will catch us. We arrive at the mountain quite tired, the two hutkeepers firmly deny it, they see from outside, but I feel myself also from inside. We all honestly admit that we are tired. For the ascent we kept the pace as much as possible. We drink each one beer and logbook entry then say goodbye. To Zerjav we arrive in dark. Me still awaits drive to Klagenfurt. During drive strong lightning and impressions from 21st repetition K24 keep me awake. In Klagenfurt when I enter apartment outside already rages heavy thunderstorm. Here praise to the driver. Lp .

Today, after a long time, from Ivarček to Uršlja. After my last hike on this path, even the foresters haven't kept their arms crossed. Returned via Grofovka.

Yesterday late afternoon to Uršlja.
With Tomaž, after finishing changing shoes and a few things in the backpack, we head from Križan to the mountain. Tomaž is quite worried; first time in such a position and he doesn't know what his body can do. We agree to start with 70% power; later the steepness will add 20% to us. Tomaž wonders why with 90%. I explain that I always save 10% to dodge the bear if we meet by chance. Tomaž pleasantly surprises me near the top, as he only stopped once, drank a bit, and continued. So we quickly reached the hut, where Tomaž already rejoices that he has become a member of the K24 club. Follows entry and a little chat. Then we calmly head to Ledine, then to the road; here Aleš has just arrived. We get rid of unnecessary gear. Changed to sandals, we conclude our odyssey that we experienced together. Tomaž marvels at himself; for exact data he needs to sleep a few nights. What he experienced, he says, is a huge thing for his whole life. Today at the picnic we laughed and discussed individual events. We finished at the starting point, that's the village pump in Zerjav; for the whole loop we used 22h and 28'.

CRNA-ZERJAV-URŠLJA- KRIŽAN -SLEME
A few minutes after 21h we start running to Jazbina. Here with Stefan we change shoes. I also change soaked shirt to dry. The path is very wet and muddy. Kristi dictates too fast pace; I warn him a few times that there is still a long way ahead. At the mountain we sign in and continue towards Križan. Camera doesn't tolerate sweat so it's all fogged and pictures are accordingly. No time to clean it. For slower descent cares Šrečko's battery that refuses to light anymore. In the car we have still two reserves. At Križan I change shoes and wet shirt and run a bit more, as I have only runners around me.

On Sunday already on the way to Uršlja gora it was idyllically beautiful; the summit itself bathed in the sun above foggy valleys. At least it looked like that.
