Today up. It was real poetry. About 3 cm new snow, sky without a cloud and lots of visitors. Hut closed so snacks and drinks from backpack, so no one is surprised. wink

We celebrated the round birthday anniversary of colleague Zdravkot with a hike to Uršlja.
Snow conditions almost identical to last year's, only the temperature was much lower this year than last year.
Snow was falling all morning at -8˚C.
This year's ascent past the hidden chapel. Continued the ascent between rocky barriers searching for passages to the top. At the cross the north wind was blowing so we soon retreated to the hut to warm up.
After 4:35 hours ended the Sunday ramble at the starting point (Ciganija). Parking lot empty. Conclusion as usual, a full table of goodies at Zdravkot's home.

From Jazbina to Uršlo past hut on Ledinah, no need for path, gaiters and crampons. In shade these days cold everywhere so nothing special.

Another report from the northern part of Uršlja. From Ivarčkega directly along the ski slope to Ošven, over Kozji hrb and along the edge to the summit; descent via Grofovka. Fog up to Ošven, then clear, on the summit fairly strong damp wind and occasional mists. Also some new snow compared to yesterday.

What a beautiful view with interesting clouds.

Yesterday's visit to Uršlja gora. Start of the hike at Poštarski dom and via Kozarnica to the summit. Descent via path over Kal to the starting point. The whole trail is without issues and snow-free, only the last 50 m of elevation still has snow, where small crampons are useful on descent. Otherwise, everything is already in the spirit of spring.

Path from Naravske ledine snow-free and dry, except short section from Luž to summit where still some snow. Nothing problematic. Ridge path from summit to Naravske ledine likewise snow-free and dry.

Today on Uršlja gora: a nice sunny day. The path from Slemen is dry, full of spring flowers.

Yesterday from Poštarskega over Kozarnica. Path dry, lungworts and bells already at the end of blooming, on the summit heather already blooming.
