I don't really know this area and I'm interested whether this weekend (on Sunday) is suitable to go to Uršlja and which path - so there are no problems because of snow?

Paths are a bit steeper and a bit less steep, most are trodden also in winter, for avalanches most paths are not dangerous. This weekend there will be a little snow, quite a bit of moisture, but probably very nice view.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Still about 20 cm of snow, but it's melting quickly. Interesting combination of autumn colors lower down and whiteness on top.

About the hut, I wouldn't waste words, I fully agree with Misantroph, but at least they could make a winter room. Otherwise, this hut could be at least as good as Kofce by location, if not no. 1 in Karavanke.
