By which road, or from which direction is it most recommended in this snowy time to the hut on Naravske Ledine?

Usually one arrives via Kotelj to the hut on Naravske Ledine. Best regards!

Thanks otiv, do you maybe know how it is from the direction of Črna through Žerjav?

Hello Edina! But I haven't driven there. My visits to Uršlja gora usually started at Križan when there was no snow, otherwise a bit further from Sleme. It drags a bit on the road, but you're quickly at the top when you start walking uphill.

Yes, I know that one too, only in dry conditions though. Haven't walked these parts for some years but would like to learn other approaches to Uršlja gora and also to Peč, so thanks everyone for any info and best regards

On Uršlja with P at the cross behind Sleme. Real winter idyll, shame without sun. Edina, all three paths from Poštarski dom, Naravske Ledine and Sleme are nicely passable. So get on the trail ASAP, even without sun, winter vibe is already spot on. Mountaineering greetings

In a foggy and humid morning, start from Ivarčkega to Uršlja gora. Snow starts approx halfway, then falling snow from branches more annoying than rime. At the top wind joined fog and rime rain. At +3 degrees snow is melting strongly, so probably dry for weekend.

Yesterday on Uršlja gora. Start in front of Poštarski dom. Weather boring, foggy.... just below the top as if switched, I reach above the cloud level. Sky cloudless, surrounding hills and peaks like islands in a foggy sea. Anyway, weather to shout about!!!

Today from foggy and gloomy valley to Uršlja specifically that short one from Naravske Ledine. Nothing to add to predecessor. At the top warm and nice views. In the hut you get tea, so you gladly come back.

Our last test yesterday on K-24 -Uršlja Gora. At Križan darkness caught us. With luck we arrived at the hut. The path is completely dry for some time, also in Jazbine direction. Photos are from today.

Janezs, congrats for K-24, hope your hike succeeded and you didn't "suffer" too much

Thanks to both. This time I successfully walked the loop, ran a bit with friend Stefano. It wasn't his first time either. I could write a lot, as I've repeated the route 16 times. I succeeded also in winter 26-27.01.2002. Half of that number I walked alone, but almost always with car escort. Now I'm always glad to invite someone for company. Yes, on Saturday we had at 1h on top of Peča, for 5 min serious position. Then we finally bumped into the shelter box. Fog and strong wind persisted to forest edge towards Kumru. Let this be enough, I'd rather walk than sit and write. They noticed that already in elementary school. Regards.

Thanks. Just exploring on the map where you walked. The area between Peča and Olševa seems most unclear to me. Found something about King Matjaž hut and Kumer surname. Please write more about that path section, maybe also under ZS, or where to read more. Thanks and regards.

Is it possible I have an old KSA map from 2000?
