OK. There will be time for rocks. I'll rather head to Viševnik. Best thanks.

LG, this report doesn't help you at all in current snow conditions. Due to snow drifts and slabs and additional snowfall in between, all that can appear every few meters on the mountain and on top of that unevenly deposited.

Below it says: 3-significant. On many sufficiently steep slopes it is only poorly to moderately stable. Already with minor additional load on slopes specifically highlighted in the Report. In some situations local spontaneous release of medium-sized and occasionally large snow avalanches possible. Some additional experience and knowledge needed in assessing avalanche-safe areas which are already partly limited. Also consider avalanche hazard on potentially endangered areas.

Come on, what do you think LG? If you have something in your head, you could know that yourself when it's sensible to push somewhere.

Does anyone have info on what condition the Vršič road is in, is there still snow on the road. I kind of plan to go by bike to Vršič (from KG direction and return towards Trenta - circular route).

Really no one listens to the radio and watches the news? It was clearly said that Vršič is OPEN for personal vehicles

Mala Mojstrovka - descent to Drevesnica. Upper part is still excellent, lower one rock n'roll over rocks and scree. Drive up to about Vršič height or a few meters lower. Of course there are a couple interruptions in between. To end the day, a quick descent from below Vitranc to Kranjska Gora. A few impressions from Mojstrovka and Kranjska Gora in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CtKSe_7f6k

On Friday, 4.10.2013, we were on the Mojstrovkas. Route: Vršič - Mala Mojstrovka - Velika Mojstrovka - Zadnja Mojstrovka - and return to Vršič. The route is demanding only in the summit parts as it is harder to walk due to scree, and it is also a bit crumbly. The views were fantastic The route to Velika and Zadnja Mojstrovka is nicely marked with cairns Pictures from the hike can be viewed on the website of Planinsko društvo Matica Murska Sobota: http://www.mojalbum.com/pdmaticams/20131004-mojstrovke-mala-velika-in-zadnja/smerokaz-poti-na-vrsicu/21167002

Katja87! Nice traverse, nice pictures with a small remark: on pictures no. 47, 48 and 49 it is not Zadnja Mojstrovka, but a nameless peak at 2372 m. Zadnja Mojstrovka is still a good half hour further along the ridge.

Hi! Today my girlfriend and I were on M. Mojstrovka on the south side. The path is fully normally passable, snow starts only around 2100 m a.s.l. If you choose the path by the ridge, you almost do not need to step into the snow all the way to the top; the path that leads in the channel more towards V. Mojstrovka due to those 10-20 cm of snow is even easier passable than on dry ground. Conditions are therefore more like summer ones, winter gear is not needed. Highly recommended!
