We too from Vršič via Pripravniška gully to Mala Mojstrovka 2332m and directly to Velika Mojstrovka summit 2366m. Snow conditions were good. In the gully very hard, towards VM summit snow already quite soft, but didn't sink much. Descended circularly towards Suhi vrh 2109m back to Vršič. Walking time 5 hrs!

Juš, we all had ice axes without which it wouldn't have been possible in the shady part of the gully where we used the adze. Poles - shortened - were just extra help - pic 10. Best regards from two 73-year-olds and other 60-year-olds,

Today conditions on the Mojstrovkas were in the best order, tracks made, lots of visitors too, snow also. Attaching some pics.

Vršič is really crowded these days with a very interesting mix of visitors. Parked next to each other: shorts-clad Belgian tourist in flip-flops and winter-geared ski tourer nasmeh. The skiing is, despite the almost June date, excellent. In the tree line you can ski roughly to the footpath that leads under Jalovec. On the top of Little Mojstrovka there are practically kick-turned steps, but I saw some hikers who went down the same track too, so the path can be quickly destroyed by careless descent. Also to Great Mojstrovka a nice track led. Some skiers went even further ... probably to Rear Mojstrovka.
On top there is still some unprocessed snow from the last precipitation, lower in the nearby steep there is quite some stone in the snow.
Among the bushes we found Alenka and Saška, who had the car parked by the road opposite the tree line and kindly offered us a ride back to the pass.

Today on both Mojstrovkas. Ski season is slowly ending here, but still worth carrying skis for this time.
If going by summer path, step on snow in upper third of path to saddle, from there on all walking on bare ground.
To Great I went directly from Little on softened snow with made steps. Skied from Great to lowest point between Mojstrovkas, then on foot to saddle and then with one snow interruption on avalanche deposit to road. Lpnasmeh

Has anyone gone this week via Hanzova to Little Mojstrovka. What are conditions? Can already reach wire normally, or still need to free climb that part obstructing path access. LP
