On the path from Češka koča to the entrance to Žrelo, on Saturday it was still necessary to cross snow without issues, but you can bypass it. No snow in Žrelo.

ttpro: take ice axe on tour and if not alone also rope - that's it. No burden, but even over summer comes in handy.
Snow that holds into summer is hard and firm, dirty, mostly on steep inclines and shady sides.
On such tours gear is very important.
Individual opinions can be deceptive. For someone no obstacles on path, for other even small drop big challenge.
If beginner and mountains novice of course never alone.

I think you're exaggerating the snow conditions in Žrelo a bit too much. Anyway, on the previous page there's also a picture of the only snowy section inside Žrelo from my report two weeks ago. That it can be bypassed without issue and covers a very short part of the trail. I'll check later if I have pictures of the snow right before entering Žrelo.

On Saturday I hiked the trail from Češka koča to Kranjska koča na Ledinah through Žrelo. The path through Žrelo is dry, snow is only before entering Žrelo and I even bypassed that snow with a short descent.

You need to cross about 10-15 meters of hard snow. Everyone should decide for themselves if winter gear is needed for such a short section. Just with poles is risky and I regret not taking any of it.
I'm really curious where @ivorna descended. Three of us were there Sunday morning, none saw any bypass, nor did the group of Austrians behind us. Well, those two behind me at least had an ice axe to make steps.

I also went Sunday morning shortly after the group of Austrians across there. I crossed a bit higher because the lower part seemed still very frozen, the snow was already softer around 8am and could be crossed nicely with a bit of caution.
Thanks to the 2 who came after me and helped a bit. 
Someone higher up wrote that the snow can be bypassed, I think that won't hold. Žrelo is otherwise completely dry, I didn't see any damaged safety cables either.

Today circular tour: Ravenska Kočna - Slovenian - Ledine - climbing to VB - Jenkova planina - Ravenska Kočna. Conditions excellent. Under Žrelo there's still a snowfield, so I took the Slovenian one, which is quite a good warm-up for the continuation. The climbing path goes up and down, alternating easier and harder sections, and at the end about 130m of Rudi's vertical.
At the boulder I was, as a representative of the older generation, quite out of breath. The nicest part of this circular path was the ridge walk to Mala Baba, which requires constant concentration.

Tadej and Rok, it would be good if you change the starting point for paths that go over Jenkova pl., and also the old German path to the hunter's path to Ledine is renovated. Parking Ravenska Kočna.
The path to Jenkova pl. joins after about 15 min. the path from the former parking.

31.10. trip Ravenska Kočna-Ledine- via ferrata to Great Baba-Small Baba-Jenkova planina. Dry everywhere, pleasant warm weather, excellent views. In shady spots a bit frozen, but doesn't hinder walking at all.
