That's completely clear to me and it doesn't bother me at all except for the visual appearance, since I walk on the nice grass a few meters away. I think thousands more will go like that and suddenly there will be a parallel little path. I hope the pasture community will at least then 'get moving'.

I'm not taking anyone's side because I don't know the details, responding only to @Klinar27's comment: that everyone can do whatever they want on their land just doesn't hold. Someone can't build a house on their land just because it's theirs without getting a building permit. Moreover, even if someone is say the owner of a house that's e.g. monument protected, they can't demolish, renovate it etc... without proper permits... in short, it's not that simple...

Of course you can't do whatever you want. You get permits and appropriate papers. But there are always people, especially at tourist spots like Velika Planina, who will immediately report and "complain" without inquiring anywhere what and how. We all know how it is with papers in Slovenia, you wait 2 years, they reject, you change, wait again, in the meantime the law changes, they reject again, etc., etc... Because of that any progress on the mountain is very difficult, and a lot has to be done "quickly" Namely, it's clear that people interfere too much in others' affairs without knowing all details. This applies here too, we don't know all info and I believe the pasture community also wants to work by regulations. Better to post nice pictures on this web portal than spread bad mood day by day

Not the best time for a visit, no Question is when it will be in better condition again...

Most likely it won't be in better condition , since I've already rediscovered paths on the planina a bit this year, I'll probably go to the planina again next year.

Nice. Interesting paths you take, @trobec. Unfortunately the disastrous state of unmarked paths after last year's flood is being revealed more and more.

Those that are too crowded are no longer interesting Yes, in this area really many paths affected. At least via Rigelj it's more or less normal.

Today the weather held to the forecast, I leave the little car before Calcita, wet snow started pelting a bit below Primož, in a jiffy I'm in an admirable January blizzard. A bit below Pirčev vrh I catch up with a hiker who was overjoyed to follow my tracks from there, which were up to half a meter deep, that's how much new snow on Planina. Since I'm in a time crunch not to miss the cable car, I rush without stopping past Črnuški dom. Luckily wind blew snow in some places, so walk to Gradišče was more comfortable. Descent to Šimnovec on snowmobile tracks. Except for the guy at the start, I met no living soul.

The path over Pasje pečine is open again. Diligent Kamničani had quite a bit of work with the damaged section of the path. I hope nature will be more sparing in the future, and we more considerate towards it. No snow, flowers, cows or tourists yet, hut opening times still winter, the steep section between Primož and Pasje pečine I tackle with great joy time and again. A couple of yesterday's pics.

The diligent ones this time were again the Domžalčani, since the path is under the care of the Mountaineering Association Domžale. Boys and girls did a lot of work on pretty nasty terrain. For now the path is still closed, until we see how much more it will slide. The path that is not closed runs right beside it, does a full 30 meters of elevation more, but in terms of walking time it is fully comparable to the closed path. Domžale hut is open on the spring schedule.
