Boštjan, on this path in the last few years I twice ran into a work action, among the men there was also Bojan Pollak, a dedicated Kamničan, so I thought this path was in their domain.

The Velika Planina area falls into the Kamnik municipality, but some of these paths are under the management of other clubs, including Domžale. Since not all clubs have enough markers, especially for bigger works, they help each other, not just markers but also other PD members, and so you find Bojan with Domžalčani and Domžalčane with Kamničani; the essence is that the paths get fixed to be safe. At this moment the path is not officially open. But work is being done on it so that this will happen very soon. Given that there was even thought of abolishing and closing the path due to annual nature effects, it is currently very nicely and uniquely renovated, which cost many sweat drops of the boys and girls who worked on it.

We from Domžale work with Bojan and collaborate often, well, also with Kamnik folks and Bajtarji, trail markers we are always too few, work too much. 
Today I dug a bit more, because we expect landslides, but it held up well even after this rain.
Lijaneja, I think not even one went the upper path today, even two younger ones who didn't know the area went this way, because: "ja glih dva sta pršla kle čez". They didn't see the signs.
So... 
Our task as trail markers is to enable safe passage as soon as possible. Because as we see - no problem with hikers who walk here a lot, bigger problem coming - tourists. And they are equipped... some have seen them already, right?

Horror. Summer, school holidays, perfect morning at 17 degrees, and I meet as many people as in the winter's heaviest snowfall. True, everyone prays to their own god, probably people gravitate to Vršič, Blato, Vrata, where you pay 25€ for car parking. No, they won't see me there.
Real madhouse on the plateau, where foreigners trample young grass. Slovenian words you hardly hear. I stop briefly at Lidija, lie a bit longer on the hay at Gradišče. Warm, no wind, peaks mostly in clouds.

After Saturday's Grintavec today pulled me to Velika too. Despite well-known and slippery path, walking wasn't the most pleasant, air heavy, without oxygen and strength in it. Before closed Jarški hut I relax, sweat-soaked clothes due to increased air humidity I can wring out (or whatever it's called)
Due to bad weather forecast fewer people up there, light drizzle started just before cable car start. But during ride past barutana it strengthened so much we drove only about 20 km/h there.

Knees almost 'cool' already, today took them on easier walk. Weather perfect, breathing air fantastic, no heat. To Primož still meet some people, those who should to Jarški hut probably all at sea , didn't meet anyone. Real opposite on pasture between Jarški and Šimnovec, think wouldn't miss if I say number 500, Slovenians just handful. Daisies practically gone, but more cows with calves instead.

Jarški is not under PZS and the tenant decides on the fly. Definitely closed on Mondays.
Also today super hike up there, but due to night rain a bit slippery. At the top tourists as if jinxed, without mountaineering behavior as we're used to here. Even the calf looks at you when passing by, he acts like he's blind. Well, one more month and they'll be gone. With the guide we took six ladies down

Zlatica, first thanks for viewing and positive rating, that gives me encouragement for the future. Regarding the performer, Bongo has already answered you, Depeche Mode is one of my favorite bands.
Did you mean the music background in my videos or in general?
It's like this: I'd really like to choose many things for the background, but copyrights limit that, meaning huge amounts of music can't be uploaded. YT checks it strictly. The biggest problem is that when, e.g., I upload a 20 GB video to YT, which takes quite some time, YT rejects the music background due to copyrights and then I have to start practically all over again, which means a lot of work and time re-editing the video.
Perhaps some don't know that it takes many hours to produce one such video like my previous ones. This one from Velika Planina is shorter, so I risked it with this music too and was very happy when YT informed me that the performers allow this song as background music for YT videos.
If you like this music, you have very good musical taste

Yesterday already at 11 a heavy rain was forecasted (but there wasn't even any in the afternoon), so I start a minute earlier than usual. People took the forecast seriously, as I meet only one hiker. On the remote bench of Jarški dom the established ritual: doze off one stanza and go mix with foreigners at Gradišče. This time the French dominated. Below, upon my arrival, at least enough people for three cable cars.

I'll post here my report of Saturday ramble in "lower part" of the highland
Calcit - St. Primož - hunting trail to Kisovec - Pirčev vrh - Calcit
Hunting trail nicely followable and not so damaged by last year's floods.
Three gullies completely ravaged, so some zigzagging up and down is needed to cross them. Some fallen trees on the path too, but nothing that significantly hinders the trail.
Maybe someone knows what's with the hut at Kisovec? It looks like someone nearly finished the renovation then changed their mind and now everything around is "disintegrating"?!

Yes, that hut is supposed to serve some 'spiritual skills'; sorry if I expressed it wrongly. I learned that during COVID, when they were building it and movement was limited.
Today up there it was quite windy, paths empty, Jarški dom closed on Mondays anyway, so I had it to myself for 45 minutes. On the planina lots of people, mostly foreigners. On the walk to Gradišče I set myself a test of mutual greeting upon meeting; in the end it was a defeat. Upon meeting, staring at the ground or ahead; even the cow lifted its head when I passed by it, but tourists as if they were blind.
