Today to Velika Planina on foot from guesthouse Kranjski Rak. Up top windy, sometimes quite cold, Kamniške Alpe in clouds, from Gradišče visible only Krvavec and across Kamniško sedlo proud Mrzla gora. Full of folks, enough to make you crazy. Quite commercialized and salty prices. Still ate sour milk, buckwheat dumplings and maslenik with bread. Then down to saddle and to Luč and through Logarska home. Nice family Sunday. Next time up during the week. LP

Exactly so, panda, during the week occasionally some hiker shows up. But vacation time approaching, even weekdays in July and August won't be much better

Today visited Velika Planina with relatives so rode up with cable car (didn't earn stamp today) to the top (Gradišče) then on foot. Huge crowds, weather super not too hot just right, views like rarely to highest peaks really unique experience... well, to Julijce I'll come too if the weather allows

We two waited for the day and went past Stanovski stan to the chapel, to Gradišče, then nice path through shepherd hut, past renovated Domžalski dom to Maret for lunch, to the car. Something happened, mom was very happy, long not up. Planina very visited but you get lost, temps better than in the valley, bit windy

Usually livestock is on the pastures until 20 - 25 September.

Even today our hiking itch didn't give us peace..we had to go somewhere..where? to sunny Velika Planina..already in Krivče the sun greets, which accompanies the whole way to Gradišče...Really lots of visitors, who then disperse...
