Forecast for today was that it would hold up top, and it really did. I went up a bit also out of curiosity if Mare really finished at Planina. I didn't set a time record, enjoyed the whole path in peace and solitude. From prolonged rain it was a bit greasy, on top there are still some white patches that reflect light exceptionally.

Important! Due to renovation works on the section of the hiking (Gonska) path Stahovica – Velika planina, the path will be closed from 20 to 31 May 2019 between Kisovec saddle and the junction to Velika and Mala planina in the Kisovec planina area.

Did you two maybe take pictures in front of the Domžale hut today around 9:10 in the morning?
I was just passing by right then, coming up from the direction of Primož, Pasje peči and then from the fence directly towards Velika Planina.

Primož, obviously you'll have to do something so the hiking clientele takes you a bit more seriously. Since you like measuring (and posting) ascent times so much, try it competitively too, to see where you stand. I suggest joining the Grintovec run (cheap and close), on 28.7. There are official timers...

Primož, what the heck are those damned gates. Do they have the task of defending Velika planina from visitors, or keeping hikers on Velika planina?
