The road looks fine. Sure, you have to be careful, but no panic. It's winter after all.
Parking BY the road is allowed according to traffic rules as long as the car doesn't extend INTO the roadway and parking isn't prohibited by a sign. Although these days it's seen as the worst crime.

Start from Vegrad a bit after nine at seven degrees of frost. My fingers warmed up only a little below Primož. Since no snow for a long time, cold persists, path to Jarški dom nice, comfortable hardened trail. Most hikers use crampons, so all nicely crampon-marked, and in sneakers without irons I advanced very fast. At marker of former Mickina hut I suggest path over hill, as lower one extremely dangerous in places if not attentive enough. Sun accompanied me all the time, no wind. At Lidija I change soaked rags, drink tea and bask in the sun for a long time. Down from Primož with mask, as I met quite some cattle on way to pasture. (let the cows forgive me, I didn't mean them)

Not overly warm. Mine showed between -9.5C and -10C at start. But this year surprisingly quite insensitive to cold.
This time to avoid cattle on pasture path, on return to car started from lower cable car station. Last week evening after work up and down Pasje peči but didn't seem particularly dangerous. Couple trees down, one especially bad. Anything changed in between?

Through Pasje peči in last part poorly trodden and no channel, wrong step could slip because edge hard. Fallen trees mostly removed, only in upper part still detour around two spruces.

With the thought of enjoying a walk in the fresh snow, I badly misjudged today. White powder started only above Primož, below Pasje peči about 5 cm on the old base, to Jarški the thickness increased by just a few cm. The sun was hiding more and more, it was calm and a couple of degrees below zero. There were quite a few visitors, especially at Primož, as every fan of that spot wanted to wish Peter happy Abraham.
During the drive past barutana - again this rain...

The road is plowed and cleared, but not salted. In this context it's normally drivable, depending, of course, on the drive, tires, skill whether you reach the quarry. Everyone is there for the weekend.
