Does anyone go on this path to St. Višarje 517m?
Similar to going to Pellarini hut, just branches off left earlier for Višarje.

Of course we've walked it, path marked 617, but in winter almost no one goes there, I only the part from Prašnik saddle, but on skis zavijanje z očmi

Start from Žabnice on nicely frozen pilgrim road to Lovec.
With skis no problem to chapel on ski slope at junction - for now no need to remove skis anywhere. Up to top on foot, cold and wind for company. Back via Višarje and ski slope to car, hardly find it so full. Nice day like yesterday elsewhere nasmeh

Last time this year with skis under Lovec. From the parking lot I carried them to the first station of the Way of the Cross, then without removing. At the huts I left the skis and followed footprints to the top, where I took a long break admiring neighboring peaks and chamois below. Return was pure joy. Snow in the shade hadn't melted yet but in the sun it sang with pleasure for me. First wanted to return via Florjanka but due to lack of snow turned to Višarje. Down the ski slope almost to the car with one removal just before the end.

The marker is not important, important are the legs that lead them.

It's been two months with no post from these places ... and they are so beautiful nasmeh

. And we went: a group of three girls and two guys. We had a great time, the weather was gorgeous. If this summery weather continues, I recommend a visit. We also had some moments for photography ....

Our trip captured in word and picture:
despite it being a workday, there were many visitors at Lovec. From the oldest to our youngest miss. On the advice of the local expert I.Z., we tied her on a rope. Only ones with helmets - a few times serious rocks fell down eek

According to the "spiritual helper" from Slovenia (in temporary exile) who helps in the church, over 50% Slovenes. Rest Italians and Austrians.

We spent a beautiful Saturday together again after a long time.
By gondola to Višarje and then towards the Hunter. The trail is beautiful also for the smallest hikers, only in the climbing section greater caution was needed.

The road from Zajzera to Višarje was closed due to timber hauling, so we used path 615 to Prašnik saddle, where they are also cutting, but passable and from there to the top. From the only one present at the top we learned that the "pilgrim path" to Višarska planina from Žabnice is also very muddy due to timber hauling.

Otherwise caught the last colors of yellow larches and excellent view, which will still be mežikanje

After descent to Prašnik saddle we went to the cirque via path 617 to the junction below Pellarini hut and from there to Zajzera.

Since too little snow on old pilgrim path, so directly up the ski slope. Snow nicely trampled and grippy without climbing skins, but because of that the skins were at end of their capacities.
At Višarje summit left under the cross, slightly down the ski slope and at chapel to hiking path to Hunter. No luck with snow here either. For ascent still so-so, on descent better on shoulder and a bit on foot. Final gully nicely passable, summit pleasant -11 with light wind. Back same path.

Today with Miha, Teja and I we headed from Trbiž lower station, of course on foot to Višarje and then after short stop to Kamniti lovec. The path I'd say almost entirely dry, only last part still snow. Gully entry snowy, chains out and helpful, traverse has some snow, otherwise dry. Winter gear stayed in packs today. Weather solid, started light rain, then clouds and sun alternating fast.

Heavenly path to Holy Višarje is normally passable, likewise the usual path to Kamniti lovec.
