I went on this path a few days before you. I don't know where else you turned, mine came to 15 km. From Gor. Ležeče station, to the mountain, to Divača station.
Probably you also went to the Škocjan Caves.?

This year's Saturday Vremščica. We went from Senožeče. Maksi got what he wanted. Wasn't windy as usual. Just pretty muddy in the forest. Lots of hikers though. Nice day.

Pic 7 is the Elektro Primorska repeater and has nothing to do with radio hams.
They also made that car road to the very top of Vremščica...

brglez thanks. Wasn't sure about Snežnik, cuz it was brown a few days ago. Now it's snowy. Bojan song of our youth. nasmeh Thought the container was from radio hams. I know they have one on Slavnik and Kokoš.

Today on Vremščica. Sunny with nice views, but sadly quite windy (as expected). From Senožeče direction recommend crampons, path very icy in forest. Snow practically from base here, as soon as enter forest from village, towards Gabrk more patchy from top and gone where SPP turns left down slope from road (ca. 800m, small parking).

Today I went to blooming Vremščica with DU Medvode. Wonderful. Right time to visit. Everything blooming from peonies to goldenroot.
The start was in the center of the settlement Senožeče.1
The path is well marked - you can't miss it.2

You say that the antenna you have in picture 5 wasn't there a few years ago.
Look at your photo in the post in this forum from 05. 06.
2014 and you'll see that you already passed by it back then.
I won't exaggerate if I claim that this thing has been there for more than thirty years

The purpose of my post is to enthuse, encourage and "inform" someone else about the beauties in our area.
Today sustainably to Vremščica. By train (it was even on time) to Gornje Ležeče station.
Then paradise garden... so many flowers that not even many paid parks in the world have as many.
Narcissi (Urbanšice) are coming to an end, but there are still countless other flowers.
I walked the whole ridge of Vremščica so as not to miss any beautiful flower, via Gabrče to Senožeče and bus home.
Could have taken the bus already at Gabrče station, but had enough time to reach Senožeče.

tavžentroža beautiful. Also Pondeljkovci-retired group PD Škofja Loka are heading to Vremščica on Monday -26.05. I also visit Vremščica at this time every year. It really is a true botanical jewel at this time.

Fresh, sunny, real winter day! Snow from 0 to 5 cm, in drifted places considerably more. Today we shared the hill also with quite a few pedestrians and four-legged friends, there were also paragliding course participants, some mountain bikers and one motocross rider.
