... it depends where, in some places they started turning yellow already 14 days ago.

... some ideas you can find here, it's true that the green color is slowly turning yellow.
There are many on Raduha too, across Planina Arta. (but not colored like that yet)

if my eye doesn't deceive me: VDV is snowy, DP is bare, Rjavina patches of snow, Triglav same, Škrlatica in snow, Rokavi and Oltar bare, snow on lakes, DK snowy, same for Kukova špica (ascent and approach from Slemen, Kukovi scree under snow, same for Gulce. Kepa bare, Golica grassy, Vajnež, Stol, Vratača, Begunjščica all bare, except a few snow patches... In short conditions are (again) autumnal. That's what I see from the basin, if it's different on S side, I don't know, but surely. I'll say more tomorrow...

Regards!

@Laščan
Larches start getting golden yellow color around 15 - 20 October.Depends also on altitude, lower ones color later.
Many towards Viševnik, Debeli peči,
Raduha or Planina Ravne in Kamnik Alps.
Many also on Zelenica towards Stol. You find them on almost every mountain I think. No fear of trampling snow.

Very nice larches you can also find on the path to Ponca from Tamar. The path is also not demanding. Otherwise recommend early hours, as then the yellowed larches show best. Morning sun makes everything twice as nice. Evening is also ok, but then darkness awaits. jezik

Slemenova špica above Vršič is a classic. They probably don't have that real yellow-orange color yet.

We already have 20cm of snow and exceptional conditions, from Ljubljana where rain with snow is falling and nothing is white, I barely got home (winter tires almost new), road closed, detours were a rescue, after snowing when it warms up I can count scratches on the car all day, there was a lot of fallen bushes, luckily nothing fell on the car, if I stopped I would hardly start, so the hanging branches had fun above the car.
In Ljubljana around 13:001
road closed, longer detour needed, 5km from home.2
this is what the car looks like after a strenuous drive.3

Judging by the photos on gore-ljudje.net the avalanche danger is obviously much higher than just first degree
Kamniško sedlo
And given that according to ARSO report already 70 and more cm of snow has fallen, one really has to wonder where only first degree avalanche danger comes from, since new snow can slide (and has already carried someone away) already at some 20 or 30 cm at not too steep slope.

I also think the last snow dump isn't trivial, especially on steeper sections when it warms up or the sun shines. Lots of wind slabs, poorly bonded snow, hoarfrost higher up under the snow. Avalanche danger level at 70cm snow despite first snow layer on base isn't rosy, too lenientzavijanje z očmi.

That's why I think it's good to warn at least on these pages, since if the path to Kamniško sedlo isn't safe, then trips to Stol and similar are questionable (as the topic is already ongoing). High mountains are fully wintery and first level certainly doesn't match conditions.
Plus my experience from last year's winter Grintovec attempt shows that in Slovenia avalanche warnings might be set too optimistically, which can mislead inexperienced into too much danger. I don't know, 70 cm new snow and first danger level, never seen that.

I was still thinking a few hours ago about going to Kamniško sedlo tomorrow, but because of posted photos I'm not. If I followed only ARSO instructions, I definitely would.

It's also true that the snow that fell due to relative humidity in the air is wet and the base is too warm for the full transformation process, so settling happens from bottom up, conditions are far from favorable, or it's not even r of the conditions.

In Val d'Isère they have an abundant snow dump. There in the village 150 cm piled up, on the highest ski resorts already 220 cm. Similarly, reports from Switzerland about snow drifts. http://www.valdisere.com/gb/val_d_isere/webcam/webcams.php and http://www.tignes.net/fr/ski-a-tignes/webcams-290.html also in Switzerland http://www.webcam.valtline.it/passobernina.htm
