Brane, your puzzle has a nice name. It's the common fern young moonwort. I'd like to see it too.

otiv, your murka no. 9 doesn't give me peace. Definitely not rhelikanijeva or two-colored. You found the rare widder murka-Nigritella widderi. For small svišči I'm always in a dilemma-Triglav one we know by characteristic rosettes, Triestine doesn't grow here. So it can only be spring, low or short-leaved. Mainly we find the spring one. No. 20 is white čmerika, but unusually yellow including leaves. I found the same.

At least let me praise you all, from Otiv to Branko and of course Apolonija's flowers, since I'm short on time. Branko, here you found the neboglasnica. Was it the only one? I'll study the rest more thoroughly when I can. Given the nice weather forecasts, I think flowers will abound here. Well then

I found the name for the marmot from the Dolomites. I also delved into this bedstraw of mine from the Dolomites. I'm almost certain, although the leaves are not best visible, that it's northern bedstraw. The rocky one is distinguished from the northern one by evenly arranged leaflets around the stem. The rocky one has six leaflets, the northern four. On the rocky they are wider, on the northern narrow. I reviewed all Italian thistles, there aren't few, and found it's a subspecies of alpine thistle.

zlatica: no. 1-Jaquin's speedwell no. 18 -popon, alpine sow-thistle no. 19-at the two bellflowers: hairy or bladder is always a dilemma in identification. They have the same habitats, flower at the same time, grow to the same altitude. Flowers are very similar and mislead us. In hairy the sepals are appressed to the corolla. Rosette leaves are round and wedge-narrowed to the petiole. On the lower stem there are closely placed elongated narrow leaves. In bladder bellflower the stem leaves are covered with short bristly hairs. Important feature is also height. Bladder can be only 5-15 cm high. While hairy can be up to 70 cm. You also found an unopened Pannonian rampion. I saw it too on Friday on the way to Vodnik hut.

Branko, you're lightning fast, thanks. Yes, with the speedwell I was too superficial.... ugh, bellflowers are already harder. From your description I'd still lean towards bladder bellflower, as it was within that height you mention, also sepals don't cling to corolla, visible on other pics too. Adding one of them. What do you think?

You convinced me - beautiful bouquet of bladder bellflowers. I'd like the clustered bellflower. Supposedly grows towards Luknja in Vrata. Cenian and alpine don't grow with us.

Which book do you recommend for purchase? I'm looking for something smaller, practical for the backpack, so I can quickly peek into the book while hiking in the mountains and find the name of the flower I'm interested in. Thanks for the advice!

Branko, I'll keep my eyes open for you too, if the clustered bellflower appears somewhere by chance. I read somewhere it grows around Bovec... Kabemmm, I think currently on the market there are these smaller format books: from Vlado Ravnik Alpine Flora of Slovenia, from Hoppe Alpine Wildflowers, and 1 copy still at Konzorcij in LJ. Pocket guide from Narava na dlani series titled Protected Plants of Slovenia by Peter Skoberne. These listed have most mountain flowers. None has everything, each has its selection, but for start more than enough. The newest came out recently from MK, also sold at Svet knjige a bit cheaper namely Alpine Wildflowers by Dr. Helga Hoffmann. Less focused on alpine flowers are booklet Wildflowers by Angelika Lang and from Založba Narava same title Wildflowers - simple and reliable determination. Hope this list helps and you'll easily choose something after checking.

Branko, clustered bellflower for you. I have no special dilemmas recognizing hairy one. Flowers seem to me like little barrels that have a "skirt".

Apolonija, as always you find a very vivid description that highlights the essential. And what all do you have at home!? Clustered bellflower too?!!

I have due to storm, as you see, a more drooping clustered bellflower, but it's already wilted.

Seems heat is winning over some of us a bit. On Thursday after shift to Veliki vrh-Košuta ridge and hope again for some flower I haven't seen this year. On Monday, if all works out, to Govnač pasture to search mysterious rampion-hybrid.

You're right, Brane. It seems to me that Otiv hasn't uploaded all the pictures as announced. If I'm wrong, I apologize

I don't know the features of stem-clasping hawkweed, so I'm not sure if it's on my pics from yesterday's trip to Slemenova Špica. Everywhere you look you see it, the peak itself is almost yellow from it.
