Which flower is this?

velkavrh10. 07. 2015 22:10:14
otiv, I watched you from Verner. It was a hike from Planina Konščica, in between Ablanca, then Vodnikov dom, at the end to Verner to find the Triglav neboglasnica, which I succeeded in. It doesn't grow on the other six two-thousanders around here. Today I'm posting just a few flowers for a taste, then continue tomorrow.
I'll start right away with the rhelikanijeva murka. First I found it under the pass under Ablanco.1
Then I discovered a larger stand near the starting point for Tošc.2
This one is fully in bloom - it smelled nicely of chocolate.3
This one is from the pre-summit of Verner.4
There were also two-coloured murkas nearby.5
It looks like they bloom earlier than the rhelikanijeve ones, as they have already wilted.6
Now the little rose for which I went to the Verner-Triglav neboglasnice in the first place.7
They have only just started to bloom, I almost arrived too early.8
Tufted bellflower at the scree on the path to Vodnikov dom. This year I saw it for the first time.9
Drooping bellflowers from Verner.10
Perhaps still a rarity - albin lousewort. whorled lousewort.11
Carniolan lily.12
13
Turk's-cap lily.14
Pot-bellied edelweiss.15
16
Stem-clasping hawkweed.17
18
Julian flax.19
Alpine pink.20
The first ones were under the saddle under Ablanca.21
Mountain pearl.22
23
Blue-green rockjasmine.24
On Ablanca it bloomed in all its whiteness.25
Bright-green rockjasmine.26
Flowers of the scaly rockjasmine.27
Tufted rockjasmine not yet flowering. Those green patches on rocks are like frozen moss.28
For tonight also wild pink.29
Now a small puzzle from the top of Ablanca. I saw the photo at Peter's.30
I know what it is - first time I saw this unusual plant. It is common moonwort.31
Grint from Planina Konščice. About a year ago I first noticed it on the top of Viševnik. This is the tubular-flowered grint. It is not very common.32
Alpine thistle.33
We recognize it by its characteristic leaves.34
Clad thistle.35
And also the flowers that are clustered at the top of the stem.36
And also the thick-leaved thistle.37
These are its leaves. We quickly confuse the thick-leaved and the alpine one because they have a similar flower.38
Already in the forest at the starting point before Planina Konščica there is plenty of large-flowered foxglove.39
Bald ragwort40
Hairy ragwort has tall stems and such leaves - Adenostyles alliariae. Bald ragwort is similar - somehow I don't notice it.41
Fragrant orchid - I smelled it, it really smells - but there is also a lot of common one and lady's slippers are still blooming.42
Common pipewort - Tofieldia calyculata.43
Shield sorrel - Rumex scutatus - has characteristic shield-shaped leaves.44
This is snow sorrel - Rumex nivalis.45
It has such leaves.46
Flowering košutnik - yellow svišč - I didn't find it. Either it hasn't bloomed yet or it has already wilted.47
Alpine pečnik.48
Julian flax is beautiful.49
This is the smallest representative of the flaxes. We hardly notice it - predivec flax.50
Julian poppy - Papaver ernesti-mayeri. It is beautiful. Blooms around Vodnikova koča - on screes.51
Bavarian kobulčak. I saw all three representatives.52
There is a lot of raznolistne lakota - Galium anisophyllon.53
There is a lot of Pyrenean osivnica - Oxytropis neglecta.54
Sternbergov klinček. I somewhat mix it up with the Montpelier one.55
Bellflower - these bellflowers still baffle me. I definitely know Scheuchzer's, shaggy and bulbous are a small dilemma, Carniolan or woolyleaf I don't mix up, so this is round-leaved.56
Zois's bellflower is just beginning to bloom.57
I found it only on Ablanci.58
In the rocks of Ablance and Vernerja there is plenty of Sieber's repuš. In the forest it is the egg-shaped one, on alpine meadows full of the head-shaped one.59
60
Clusijev petoprstnik.61
Alpine jelenka.62
Alpine golden rod.63
Many-flowered suholetnica.64
Around smetlik there would be debates - it should be the common one.65
Triumfettijev glavinec.66
It has brown fringes.67
I'm still undecided between three hawkweeds: single-scapose, pinnate or shaggy. I know I need to photograph the scapes precisely—what those fringes and leaves are like. This one was shaggy.68
Medium trefoil - Trifolium medium.69
Dioecious spikerush.70
Around Vodnikov dom there is a lot of large-flowered false helleborine.71
In the shade it was still a bit crumpled.72
In the sun, however, it was all aglow.73
Alpine lady's mantle.74
Ant-hill bellflower.75
Blackish yarrow, there is also a lot of wormwood.76
Long-leaved hawkweed.77
It has such leaves.78
With the gentians I'm a bit confused - is it common, large-flowered or July - Bertolon's.79
Carinthian edelweiss.80
It should be the true one.81
Carniolan thistle. There was also soft, thorny, sticky from the yellow-coloured. Already flowering woolly-headed, common, mountain, stream thistles.82
Hairy chervil - Chaerophyllum hirsutum.83
Common burnet.84
We don't see it very often. The great burnet is even rarer.85
Globeflower or little sun.86
Which one it is. Determining between egg-shaped, large-flowered and common torments me.87
Now it's the turn of the capitated hawkweeds.88
I'm of course looking for the pink one. For the marsh one, you'll have to go to Pokljuka marshes.89
Verticillate hawkweed.90
The panicled one has already finished blooming.91
July hawkweed. I haven't found the yellow-flowered elongated one yet.92
Now it's the turn of my yellow ones, where there's confusion for me. This one grew next to the stem-clasping hawkweed. It's similar to it, just not orange-yellow.93
The leaves are similar to those of the stem-clasping hawkweed.94
Dimek?95
The leaves are like that. It should be the low hawkweed - Hieracium humile - determined according to Flora Alpina.96
Another yellow one. Definitely one of the hawkweeds.97
The leaves are different from the previous one.98
This one still baffles me.99
Its leaves.100
Austrian hawk's-beard101
It has such leaves.102
I have another photo of the glavinec, but not clear - obviously it was the hairy glavinec. There were no violet-colored others. I checked the buds.103

Brane, your puzzle has a nice name. It's the common fern young moonwort. I'd like to see it too.

otiv, your murka no. 9 doesn't give me peace. Definitely not rhelikanijeva or two-colored. You found the rare widder murka-Nigritella widderi. For small svišči I'm always in a dilemma-Triglav one we know by characteristic rosettes, Triestine doesn't grow here. So it can only be spring, low or short-leaved. Mainly we find the spring one. No. 20 is white čmerika, but unusually yellow including leaves. I found the same.

At least let me praise you all, from Otiv to Branko and of course Apolonija's flowers, since I'm short on time. Branko, here you found the neboglasnica. Was it the only one? I'll study the rest more thoroughly when I can. Given the nice weather forecasts, I think flowers will abound here. Well then winking

I found the name for the marmot from the Dolomites.

I also delved into this bedstraw of mine from the Dolomites. I'm almost certain, although the leaves are not best visible, that it's northern bedstraw. The rocky one is distinguished from the northern one by evenly arranged leaflets around the stem. The rocky one has six leaflets, the northern four. On the rocky they are wider, on the northern narrow.

I reviewed all Italian thistles, there aren't few, and found it's a subspecies of alpine thistle.
Gentiana clusii E.P. Perrier & Songeon1
Finally confirmed also Bavarian gentian-Gentiana bavarica -recognized by characteristic leaf rosettes, which are different from those of Triglav gentian.2
I also got to the bottom of this sviščevec - it's Gentianella columnae. Otherwise, there's some confusion in naming. Flora Alpina lists them as Gentiana, in Italy as Gentianella.3
I'm almost sure it's northern gentian.4
Carduus defloratus subsp. glaucus.5
This alpine thistle has a long smooth stem, usually not just one flower at the top. The leaves are smooth, untoothed.6

Hello! Otiv, you were right, the last two days I had the backpack on my shoulders all the time and so another collection of flowers formed, mostly our old acquaintances that I photographed on the way to Vogel summit and the second day to Viševnik. They follow in this order too. Enjoy looking at them. lpnasmehmežikanje

zlatica: no. 1-Jaquin's speedwell

no. 18 -popon, alpine sow-thistle

no. 19-at the two bellflowers: hairy or bladder is always a dilemma in identification. They have the same habitats, flower at the same time, grow to the same altitude. Flowers are very similar and mislead us. In hairy the sepals are appressed to the corolla. Rosette leaves are round and wedge-narrowed to the petiole. On the lower stem there are closely placed elongated narrow leaves.

In bladder bellflower the stem leaves are covered with short bristly hairs. Important feature is also height. Bladder can be only 5-15 cm high. While hairy can be up to 70 cm.

You also found an unopened Pannonian rampion. I saw it too on Friday on the way to Vodnik hut.

Branko, you're lightning fast, thanks. Yes, with the speedwell I was too superficial....
ugh, bellflowers are already harder. From your description I'd still lean towards bladder bellflower, as it was within that height you mention, also sepals don't cling to corolla, visible on other pics too. Adding one of them. What do you think? zmeden

You convinced me - beautiful bouquet of bladder bellflowers.

I'd like the clustered bellflower. Supposedly grows towards Luknja in Vrata. Cenian and alpine don't grow with us.

Which book do you recommend for purchase? I'm looking for something smaller, practical for the backpack, so I can quickly peek into the book while hiking in the mountains and find the name of the flower I'm interested in.
Thanks for the advice!

Branko, I'll keep my eyes open for you too, if the clustered bellflower appears somewhere by chance. I read somewhere it grows around Bovec...velik nasmeh
Kabemmm, I think currently on the market there are these smaller format books: from Vlado Ravnik Alpine Flora of Slovenia, from Hoppe Alpine Wildflowers, and 1 copy still at Konzorcij in LJ. Pocket guide from Narava na dlani series titled Protected Plants of Slovenia by Peter Skoberne. These listed have most mountain flowers. None has everything, each has its selection, but for start more than enough. The newest came out recently from MK, also sold at Svet knjige a bit cheaper namely Alpine Wildflowers by Dr. Helga Hoffmann. Less focused on alpine flowers are booklet Wildflowers by Angelika Lang and from Založba Narava same title Wildflowers - simple and reliable determination. Hope this list helps and you'll easily choose something after checking. nasmeh

I don't know the features of stem-clasping hawkweed, so I'm not sure if it's on my pics from yesterday's trip to Slemenova Špica. Everywhere you look you see it, the peak itself is almost yellow from it.
