@darinka4, of course it's moonwort on your second picture named mountain moonwort. @sandij74, no big deal. Regards

Brane thanks for taking us on the trip. Of course it's meadow-rue and specifically yellow meadow-rue (Thalictrum flavum). And of course it's wintergreen, which, just to clarify, belongs to the wintergreen family and not to orchids. I don't know if it's round-leaved or maybe small-flowered wintergreen (Pyrola minor). And also the dilemma wormwood : yarrow, which you kindly point out. Are you sure that on 45, 46 it's really mountain yarrow? Are those characteristic leaves of mountain yarrow?

Brane, a bit late I viewed your flowers. You drew my attention to the green-flowered lady's slipper. Until now I didn't know about it. Lady's slippers are very interesting to me, there are many subspecies. It seems this variety blooms much later than others, which are also native higher up. lp

Very nice, Zlatica! Isn't on picture 45 Montpellier pink?

If the master of photography says so, it must hold. I like it very much too. Regarding the pink, I think the same as otiv. Sternberg's is lower and doesn't have multiple flowers on the stem. Your wild pink is as nicely pink as the Triestine one usually is.

This pink appears in the full range of colors from strong pink to completely white. White is usually in full shade.

Yes, Branko, thanks for the additional information. The grass around the pinks was very very tall, so maybe that's the reason for the shade and paler color.

Again I have two unknowns that I found today on Snežnik. For experts probably not too hard a nut. Thanks

Ohoo, Otiv, I haven't visited these pages for a few days, but I see Snežnik tempted you. Why did you only treat us to two photos? You must have taken way more! I notice that this year these flowering slopes are less densely full, as if there was a shortage of flowers in the mountains, but for now that's not the case, right? Where are the mountain visitors and flower lovers?
