Uaaa,, everything is completely flooded. Even around us the fields are literally under water. Only on high bushes does some interesting thing remain.

Identifying true gentianellas is real science for me. Can the true name be determined from the photos below? I'll be very happy for help. Found it on Polhograjske grmade quite low down.

otiv, after careful examination I decided that you photographed German gentianella-Gentianella germanica. Explanation-about Gentianella species I have already written. Only hairy, rough, German, Austrian were considered. I think early is out, likewise cup-shaped-grows only above tree line. Austrian also not because it has cymose inflorescence at same height. So only three remain-hairy-starts blooming latest, German and rough. All grow to about same height, also bloom at same time and are color-wise quite matched. To precisely determine the species I'd have to well distinguish flower characteristics of each species. But I think German gets most points, because it somehow has the most spread-out flowers along the stem. Identification summarized from Flora Alpina, Zaplana.net and Hoppe.

Zlatica, thanks for this bouquet. You've really put a lot of effort in. The stranger isn't really a stranger, it's mountain germander
