A couple of them were skiing, but it was more over rocks. Many were skiing from Zelenica towards Ljubelj, but on the access road to Zelenica there's already some rocks out.

Nice day above Zelenica. From Ljubelj first to Zelenjak, then to Palec. Snow patches to Zelenjak can be bypassed, to Palec there's a good 10m long snow patch, but footprints have been made. Nice weather. On the ascent to Zelenjak the rock in the shade was frozen.

Obviously we met today, Tinky, and exchanged a few words. We were heading to Palec, you already from both summits. Safe steps further.

Today from Ljubelj via Zelenica and Suho ruševje (Žleb) to Palec. Conditions not too favorable: cold, fog, overnight snow dusted the hills, which melted by noon. From Žleb to the top it cleared up and dead calm. The lower path through the scrub is cleared, just a few meters behind the big boulder dense scrub remains - was that done on purpose. No summit log at the top.

Ljubelj - Zelenica - Suho ruševje - Zelenjak - Palec and back to Ljubelj. Path without peculiarities, snow tongues here and there high above the path. In Suho ruševje they sawed many branches of scrub and made a wide corridor along which the path runs. Signposts are on Zelenjak, none on Palec. More at: http://www.gore-ljudje.net/objava/134194/

On Saturday on Palec and Zelenjak. The path is really nicely traceable nasmeh

higher up the terrain very crumbly - strongly recommend helmet due to constantly falling stones :/

On Saturday around 8am I saw 4 on Palec from Vrtača. Maybe that was you. Check current conditions Vrtača nasmeh

I like these two little hills, so I visit them often. The path through scree is cleared. On Zelenjak I met a hiker with whom we had already met right here somewhere. Also Bojan / Turbo / and his puppy Cathy were around here. Also the fast lady with puppy about whom much was written was here. Towards the saddle between peaks it blew quite a bit, so it wasn't hot. The weather held. On Zelenica lots of youth from different countries. Don't know what they did there.

Turbo, very nice trip. Your hint about Tinky triggered a question. Four hikers - three puppies. How will it look in mountains in a year or two? Every hiker will have a puppy or two, eat in huts in dining rooms from quality melamine dishes, sleep in rooms with owners? Hiker without four-legged friend judged as weirdo, freak or psycho. Yesterday we had SŽ hike to Vrtača. Starting point at Ljubelj. With Romana we went a bit our own way, so before ascent to Vrtača we visited Palec and Zelenjak too. Romana stepped on these peaks first time, I was up there last year with Uroš when we hiked five-day tour through Karawanks (from Trbiž to Slovenj Gradec). During hike we stepped on 103 Karawanks peaks. On Vrtača we met the main group. On descent from Vrtača we visited middle peak too. At hut by spring had light snack. On Zelenica caught hikers again and went together to cars. Followed pleasant gathering below Ljubelj at guesthouse Školjka. Thus concluded 154th SŽ hike. LP.

Another nice autumn one. First to Zelenjak then to Palec. Already third time around here met Aleš and his four-legged friend. They are on pic no. 16 of my previous post. Quite some hikers milling about. Some heading to Vrtača too. Weather sunny, warm, no wind. On Zelenica as usual.
