Begunjščica

Description of mountain:
Begunjščica is a mountain range in the Karawanks east of Stol. Its highest peak is Veliki Vrh, which at over 2,000 m offers a fine view across central Slovenia. Some call Begunjščica the "mountain of a hundred gullies" because it is criss-crossed with them. The summit, part of the Slovenian Mountain Trail, also has a panorama board and registration box. The summit itself is grassy and expansive, but precipitous on the northern side.
