Bockberg is 2497 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 1.5 km east of peak Rotegg. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 1.2km north. bivouac Bockhütte is also relatively close. 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gaisbergferner, 5 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Gurgler Ferner. Southeast of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
