Wassertalkogel is 3247 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.6 km south of peak Puitkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Rüsselsheimer Hütte, located 3km north-northwest. Closer is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak, located to the west-southwest in the immediate vicinity of the peak. 3 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Pollesferner, 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Innerer Pirchlkarferner.
