Weißmaurachjoch

Description:
Weißmaurachjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2959 meters and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 1.0 km south-southwest of peak Ampferkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Rüsselsheimer Hütte, located 1.9km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak. South from the saddle there is glacier Nördlicher Puitkogelferner, 0.8 km south-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Südlicher Puitkogelferner. The saddle is located above the valley Pollestal.
