Hohe Geige

Description:
Hohe Geige is 3394 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km east-northeast from the center of Plangeross and 7 km southwest from the center of Huben. The nearest mountain hut is Rüsselsheimer Hütte, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak. South-southwest from the summit there is glacier Gletscherwanne, 0.7 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Rötkarlferner. The peak is located northwest of the valley Pollestal. The peak is located above the ridge Innere Wilde Schneide.
