Hoher Kogel

Description:
Hoher Kogel is 3296 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km northeast from the center of Plangeross and 6 km west-southwest from the center of Huben. The nearest mountain hut is Rüsselsheimer Hütte, located 3km southwest. Plangeroßalm is a bit further away. 0.8 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Geigenkarleferner, 1.1 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Rötkarlferner. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Pitztal. The peak is located above the ridge Hochgelaite.
