Fotzenkarstange is 3024 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.1 km east of peak Ampferkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Rüsselsheimer Hütte, located 3km west. A little further is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak. 0.8 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Innerer Pirchlkarferner, 1.8 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Geigenkarleferner.
