So, I've browsed all topics in general discussions and haven't found any talking about this embarrassment nasmeh
My problem (probably someone else's too) is really annoying and I'm looking for advice on how to solve it, or at least mitigate it. I love going to the mountains, but unfortunately always have to seek easy, non-exposed paths... I'd like to tackle a harder path too, climb a summit that's currently out of reachmrk pogled
The idea has already arisen to enroll in a course e.g. sport climbing, to get used to heights, belays...
I really need some idea, advice, maybe someone has overcome this.

Difference between down and synthetic fillings is also that down warms much less when wet. Synthetic down jackets perform much better in that regard.
I have in winter for hills long active shirt and softshell. When moving you don't get cold anyway, rather the opposite. Regarding sweating - I always sweat, if not elsewhere then on back because of extra heating - backpack. Down jacket is always in backpack, because indispensable at summit or wherever you stop, as you cool down very quickly. I suggest you buy one you can always carry in backpack in winter. Better quality softshell seems more important to me, one that wicks moisture well.

They also have synthetic one, which is much cheaper.

ms primoz has, albeit sarcastically, said the pure truth. Everyone has only their own head nasmeh

With Karibujem you surely won't go wrong.

OK, thanks nasmeh

Hi!
Does anyone know if there's snow on the path from Planina Blato to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih?

Even in the afternoon at the bridge over the Sava in Tacen there was loud banging that deterred me from visiting Smarna Gora. Had to settle for a walk in Brod.

But that's nice too, just get outside nasmeh hood on your head, and let's go!

I would recommend to you for a start the Slovenska pot to Ledine, Kamniško sedlo from Logarska dolina and Pekel gorge near Borovnica. The paths are demanding marked paths, but all have "iron inserts". I think the paths are quite suitable for a beginner.

There are also climbing routes to Raduha and Peč, which are probably closer to you, but I haven't walked them yet, so I can't say if they are suitable for almost a beginner. Someone on the forum will surely know.

All paths are described on www.hribi.net, so you can judge from descriptions and photos if they suit you.

Until summer you have plenty of time to get fit, buy a guide, map and study.

Safe steps and many nice experiences in the mountains nasmeh

Two years ago I went to the Savica waterfall and the hut at the Soča spring in gladiator sandals - no problem. It's true they have a zipper at the back so feet don't slide around, better sole too and it doesn't slip. Still open summer shoes. nasmeh
I think to the Savica waterfall it's not too dangerous even in flip-flops, mostly you walk on stairs (to the Soča spring not recommended because of slippery rocks too).

@GITA a very sympathetically described experience velik nasmeh
With teenagers it's probably like that, have to wait till they come to you themselves nasmeh

Congrats from my side too for having walked the SPP nasmeh
As far as I'm concerned it's admirable, because some peaks are quite tough mežikanje

Excellent! Beautiful descriptions, photos and, like Irina, I also envy you a bit!
Looks like the real Gran Paradiso mežikanje

So we can expect descriptions from France too nasmeh

Today long-awaited visit to Ledinski vrh. Morning start at 7 from parking (oh, I messed up and parked in front of Dava Karničar Mountain Center), oh well, just a few more minutes walk. Quite a cold Jezersko morning awaited me, but by the cargo cableway the body warms up just right nasmeh.
To Ledine via hunting path, which at the start is marked as easy (OMG what is then difficult by such classification). If I compare it to the path over Komarča the latter is not much harder, yet it's a demanding path.
Anyway, the path is secured where needed, looks recently repaired, upper 2 cables are new, but obviously water sometimes erodes the path partly. Since the path runs on S slopes no heat on the way.
Completely different scene from Ledine to Ledinski vrh. Sun all the time, but since the time was still early it didn't bother. Path ahead very very nice, only harder spot nicely secured with cable, views on the path itself, on the summit even more, and wonderful nasmeh. Rinka and Skuta like on the palm nasmeh
On return at Ledine I run into a nun in full gear, she headed towards Češka koča (hope she didn't go with wings and low boots through the gully eek).
Descent from Ledine sometimes quite annoying due to scree on rocks, otherwise partly hunting path then directly to the car (turnoff to Dava Karničar Mountain Center is marked, nice path fully marked).
Wonderful day spent in mountains nasmeh

Checked today, first is the parking lot, only then the sign that driving further towards the cargo cableway is prohibited (photo 3 by user marko1).
Before this really large and arranged parking lot there is, by the road, a no stopping and parking sign (at the meadow), although today around 14.00 it was full of cars there, and in the morning also at the lower station of the cargo cableway.
