Today on Obir from the direction of Kurnikovo sedlo.
Snow starts at around 1400 m.
The path to the hut and towards the summit is tracked, but due to crustiness it broke through.
Snow on the summit part reworked, in places blown to the base.
At the top we met two ski tourers who skied down towards Šajdi.
On the way back already very south-facing, so snowshoes from the backpack went on the feet and then down shortcuts.
Sunny weather with some wind on top and unlimited views in all directions.

Yesterday to Snežnik from Leskova valley direction.
Beautiful winter day, wonderful views, snow cover held footprints, wind only a bit below the summit.

To Vrtača from Ljubelj on the marked path. To Zelenica and in the forest the path is icy, small crampons or chains would be very welcome. Further on, rocky parts alternate with snowy ones. Sunny and panoramic.

Since there are several comments on crossing ravines in the initial part in the Goličica mountain description, update on the condition.
The first ravine now needs to be bypassed above it, as it was washed away.
Second and third passable under the wall, careful step needed.
The rest as written by ljubitelj gora. Bushes trimmed, path traceable, steepness and ticks remain .

Of course, no panic. The path through the lonely Velska Valley is a reward.

The plan was Šmarjetna glava, but at the first leveling I veered left and ended up on the 10 m lower, much less prominent Glava above Dolič .
But that doesn't mean I was deprived of views, I'll meet Šmarjetna glava another time .

On Sunday to Kanin from Gilberti hut. Gondola runs from 8.30 to 17.30, return ticket 13 eur (operating hours valid until 8 September).
Before entering via ferrata Julija there is an extensive snowfield that requires crampons.
Back via ferrata Rosalba Grasselli, no issues.

Yesterday to Nabojs via Via Nord.
No snowfields on the route.
In the upper part below the wall, before exiting to the chamois ledge, quite gravelly slabs.
Exit to the right, along the grassy ledge, below the cross.

Thanks, it was quite a test for me, as lately I pick easier hills 🫠.

Many years have passed since I was on Kopa.
And I went to check if I can still find the lower access from the kot.
At the beginning the roads before the entrance to the hunting trail confused me a bit, then it went.
The path is less trodden and steeper than I remembered.
Heat and stuffiness pressing, step heavy.
Temperatures always higher, condition downward . So with the krnica the goal was reached.
The water spring is usable only for Geppetto, who always has some tool to catch drops. For the rest of us it's better to supply at the streams on the ascent path.

I met no one, the parking lot was empty too.
But yeah, nice to return to these wild corners.

Interesting access is from the Kamačnik canyon, which is worth viewing completely beforehand (entrance 5 eur).
The path to Bijela kosa runs mainly along forest tracks, partly on macadam roads and is exemplarily marked.
In summer shady, but without views, except partially at the top.

Interesting descriptions of Špilnik drew me to these unknown areas.
Circular tour Strmca, Petričev hrib, Lipovec, Špilnik, Sv. Lovrenc, Studeno, Strmca. A good 13 km accumulated, almost 1,000m ascent and lots of bora-spiced views. Nicely spent day.
