On Saturday the path was a bit changed, water did its thing. Somewhere around the junction to Kačji graben Pišnica took a new path (don't know if it's always like that after heavier rain) so you go forward on the left side across a steep slope, where in this wetness there's danger of slipping. A bit further just before Planina v Klinu the water deepened the path by about a meter, don't know how further - in Klin I turned towards Vršič

Well, to me the definition is tailored and when huts close, bivouacs or winter rooms are used as the final goal if it comes to that. Anyway, what we bring we also take away, and October overnight in winter room at Sedmerih also left a bitter taste for me; upper rooms were a real dump, but that's another story about basic human culture and more zmedenmežikanje

gofra that won't hold..anyway they are not meant for parties. Permanent bivouac is simply a shelter that allows rest or overnight at longer ascents. According to the definition of the Alpine Association of Slovenia these bivouacs in terms of operation are unstaffed mountain huts.

actually we didn't even have a goal, because after injury and more than half a year of inactivity I'm slowly returning to my beloved mountain world, we said we'll go as far as we can, in the end it was the hut on Golica then along the ridge, if I'm not mistaken over Krvavka and Mala Golica back to sedlo Suha and over Pusti rovt back to Pristava. Yeah we noticed the car also on the way back and wouldn't refuse a ride offervelik nasmeh We also didn't meet anyone to Golica and back. Of course safe steps on the pathsnasmeh

Edina too bad we didn't meet by chance, because if you had offered us a ride we would have acceptedvelik nasmeh

so, if I got it right, the ridge is doable without winter gear, nasmeh

I strongly doubt that, due to not too high traffic, as well as the huge amount of fallen trees. But today a guy with a chainsaw was clearing the path to Ciprnik where I headed afterwards, the path to Ciprnik also has some obstacles over or under which you can get.

The path to Mala Ponca from Planica is impassable. Today I tried and after about an hour I had enough and turned back. The question is, given that the path is unmarked and no one maintains it, when, if at all, it will be cleared

It looked like this on Saturday 17.5. The snow might already be gone.

Was yesterday to Black Lake. Path over Komarča is ok, but only from first protections onwards, before that one section very mixed. About 15 min from start huge snow mixed with fallen trees and rocks, path basically gone there, later some spots with lots of fallen trees over path. From approx first protections, it gets better with each step. But another danger: chamois, never seen so many in Komarča, they trigger rocks, once very close and helmet wouldn't have helped (had it). Later from top of Komarča in three steps from almost summer deep into winter. No tracks except animal ones, around 10:30 no sinking, only at lake the land-water border is somewhere under snow - careful. Path in lower part needs thorough clearing. To those who don't know the path, currently advise against using it.

Yesterday from Sv. Janez via Vogar, Blato, to Planina Jezero. Morning to Vogar no problems, path mostly cleared of fallen trees too. Then to Blato parking, more "fun" sinking through though, to Vogar-Blato junction still somehow ok, from there to parking pure sinking (would give full thumbs up for snowshoes). From there to Jezero it went ok, thanks to touring skiers' track. Huge snow at the pasture, meet the warden at the hut who came to check conditions. Nice chat. On return to Blato parking no issues, then higher temps did their thing and it was pretty strenuous all the way to the valley. Hut at Vogar open (weekends). Road to Blato I feel won't be drivable for a while, no sledding tracks either. From Vogar to Jezero met two snowshoers and two skiers (board) that was all, great but strenuous trip.

We didn't meet but probably saw each other
I counted besides me another five hikers, when I started at parking lot no cars yet, when returning there were three, my transport yesterday was bus, anyway it was damn nice

I was also there yesterday in these places, short sleeves were handy too, because afternoon obligations were only to Vrtaška planina and a bit further. I like it here.

But you two scared us around Gubno jezik. First time to Kepa from this side, seems nicer than from Belca. No sun, but wind made warm clothes useful, chamois faster than cameras, sitting at Brvog is nice, back in clearer weather, didn't miss Aljaž. Day was velik nasmeh
