"Jalovčevo okno" on Vošca has collapsed!

From the Pordoi pass initially easy, then steep path over scree to Forcella Pordoi hut (2848 m). From there right to the summit (3152 m) and back the same path. At F.P. hut I met first groups (Japanese, ...) who arrived by gondola to Sass Pordoi (starts at 9:00). Then "skiing" over scree to Pordoi pass.

Already from Dovje you can see that the scree under Stenarska vratca is still nicely covered with snow.

Ruševec, you're obviously an expert. I'm curious how many years you'd estimate for this chamois that lives under Debelim vrhom.

On 29 August the filmmakers made a real chaos on the path from Kredarica to Mali Triglav. On Sunday 16 September that bench really wasn't there yet - only a nice snowball was by the tower.

Today I went to check myself too - all dry!
Unfortunately on Stenar strong wind from the coastal side was driving fog to Gorenjska. No views at all, only occasionally Triglav and Škrlatica showed up. As if in mockery it cleared around 12:00 (of course already without me on top).

Carrying wood to Roblek has long been a tradition. Last year I was there with my granddaughter, who of course also carried (appropriately sized for nine years) her own log. We had a really nice time because of that (and educating).

I recommend the path from Korensko Saddle (turn left at the top of the hill before the last flat before the border) by bike.

The Karst edge with its sumac colors is indescribably beautiful at this time. Don't miss this heaven on earth. Photos are from the path from Sočerga to the overhangs at the border.

I agree 100% with you swiss!
Whoever has something useful to say or advise others let them write it, the rest better "move" elsewhere. There is no shortage of such blogs.

do you have eagles in Ljubno?
There are really many Kanj, also sparrowhawks in those woods towards Dobrča. But for eagles I doubt a bit.

Today I was on Špik - up Gruntovnica, down Kačji graben. On the summit about 15 of us, also a group of young Czechs. Maybe more in the afternoon. Consequence of recent rains is powdery snow that starts before Lipnica. Especially annoying was the ridge Lipnica-Špik: safe steps snow-covered, no protection. But given the weather, snow will be gone in a day.
Otherwise unique views today.
For the upper part above the ridge, helmet mandatory, as stonefall risk from above is very high. Few had it today.
