On Sunday, 25.10.2015 we walked the Lipovska trail in Prekmurje, 14km long and only 5-6m ascent. At the beginning fog hindered us a bit, later the view opened up over the Prekmurje plain. Very interesting flat trail between fields and forests. Some photos at www.pdmaticams-drustvo.si/

20.10.2019 For this time of year still quite a warm morning we start at Koča pod slapom Rinka. Views to peaks not promising at all, windy, foggy. First stop at waterfall, then at Savinja source where we got water, visit to Frischaufov dom, then to Savinjsko sedlo and shortly after turnoff to Mrzla gora right we turned left to Rinka. Interesting path, climb up down up, reach window through which fog hides everything, continue climbing – ascending to top of Koroška Rinka - Križ. In dense fog sharp wind descent between Kranjska and Štajerska Rinka to path from Turski žleb to Skuta, then beside dense fog hurricane wind jump to Turska gora, return descent Turski žleb, stop at monument, descent bad shepherd path to parking. We also climbed to Debela peč on 8.10.2019, namely on the hunter's path from Kovinarska koča in Krma. Almost until the ascent, arrival at the marked path Blejska koča - Debela peč we wandered in fog. During the ascent chamois surprised us and sent us quite some stones. Followed a sunny, somewhat windy ascent to Okroglež, Debela peč, Brda and descent on the marked path from Lipanska vrata to Krma. 5.10.2019 ascent to Krn. Start at 6:45 at the Hut at Savica, at 8:38 Dom on Komna with a break until 8:55, Vratca (Bogatinsko sedlo) at 9:55, at 10:30 planina Prehodci, at 10:35 left turnoff to Peske from the Prehodci Krnsko jezero path, at 12:25 WWI monument at Peske where the path turns at a right angle in the direction of Batognica. At 13:00 Prag – saddle between Peske and Batognica, at 13:40 Krnska škrbina – saddle between Batognica and Krn, 14:10 Krn summit, at 14:20 descent to Gomišček shelter under Krn, at 14:30 shelter, 14:40 from the shelter toward Krnska škrbina, 14:50 škrbina, 16:05 Krnsko jezero and at 16:20 goal, Hut at Krn Lakes, total 9h 35min. Up to the WWI monument it was fantastic, sunny, not too hot and very scenic; further over Peske, Batognica and Krn it was windy and foggy, but below Krnska škrbina nice again, no fog and warmer. 26.9.2019 Partly circular path via Komarča to Black Lake 1294m, Hut at Seven Lakes 1685m, on to Zasavska Hut - Prehodavci 2071m, then ascent to Velika Zelnarica 2320m, descent via Mala Zelnarica 2310 past Kopica, ascent to Velika Tičarica 2091m (path unmarked), hop to Mala Tičarica 2071, descent via Štapce to Double Lake and descent via Komarča. Start moderate pace hike without major stops at 7.00 and arrival at goal at 19.10. Weather, views, temperature fantastic, except some foreigners whole path without crowds of visitors in this part of Julijci. Some photos at

Rjavina over Teme. 19.9.2019, start at 7:00 in Krma – Pri lesi, ascent towards Prgarica and before Prgarica turned onto poorly traceable path through Travna dolina past dilapidated hunter's hut to Zgornja Krma, in Zg. Krma back to marked path then again turned onto path past Vel. Pršivec, then ascended via gentle gully near Temena where remains of crashed American bomber from March 1945 are still scattered, 11 crew members died - ?. After viewing aircraft parts we ascended over scree and right along the wall to the grassy part of Temena. Followed direct ascent to Rjavina, for some time over very steep grassy terrain which later turned crumbly rocky, summit at 13.00 – slow walking. Descent via marked path to Dovška vratca and further to Prgarica and Krma. Weather played tricks, fog, towards top quite cold wind. Ascent to Teme doesn't seem so demanding, exposed, as ascent over grassy and crumbly terrain further to Rjavina summit. Some photos http://www.pdmaticams-drustvo.si/.

Three-day ridge traverse of Bohinj peaks. Day 1: Podbrdo, Sedlo nad Kalom, Babji zob, Rušni vrh and Črna prst. Day 2: Konjski, Poljanski and Matajurski vrh, Vel. and Mali Raškovec, Suha Rodica, Rodica, Mala Rodica, then over Suha and under Šija to Vratca, Vogel and descent through Krnica to planina Razor - sleep. Day 3: from planina Razor along E7 above Grant and Rut to Stržišče, Kala, and over saddle to Podbrdo. On Monday, 5.8.2019, early in the morning in peace and quiet, ascent to Jalovec from Vršič over Goličica past the permanently closed Ozebnik. To the summit, clouds helped by partially covering the scorching sun, pure walking 4h 45min. From the summit great view on peaks rising from the fog. Descent to Špička and to Trento - Hut at Soča source 3h 40min. Path over Goličica and descent to Špička seems more demanding to me than ascent to Jalovec summit itself. Some photos at

On Sunday 14.10.2018 we went from Dom planincev to the hut at Klemenča jama, then to the path Škarje-Škrbina and before the end of Škrbina turned left toward the Krofička wall. Snack or refreshment, then initial steep ascent with the help of very worn cables, followed by diagonal ascent over Travnik toward the Krofička summit. In nice sunny weather, dry grass and rock, the ascent is not too hard, but not for beginners or those with vertigo. Descent from Krofička on the marked path also not quite easy. Very slippery, wet leaves, rocks and roots, even higher up from this junction. Towards Debel kamen it was already OK.

Yesterday 10.10.2018 on Triglav, until precipitation NO winter gear needed - crampons, ice axe, no snow. Start Kot valley past Debeleg kamen Pekel sinkhole to Stanič, to Kredarica under Rž unmarked poor path, up Triglav, down Škrbina to Planika, under M.Triglav to Kalvarija, Reške pode through Dovška vratca back Kot. On 23.09.2018 we wandered a bit around and on Raduha. From Bukovnik farm to Grohat hut, then through the gully along Hojnikova path to Lanež, to the gully a bit off-trail, from Lanež to Jelovec, descent to Loka hut, ascent over planina Arto to Raduha and descent via Durce to Grohat and Bukovnik. Morning weather looked poor, fog, possible rain, but around ten it turned to nice sunny day with suitable temperature for rambling, no rush of hikers. 09.09.2018 we were on Triglav - something is really missing. Route Krma-Prgarca-Kredarica-Triglav-Planika-Konjsko sedlo-Kurica-Prgarca and to the valley. Weather, view fantastic, on the whole route huge number of uninformed visitors in the mountains, it seems the summit itself has become a gathering place of idiots who bring all sorts of things to the top, parasol, inflatable balloons, whatever "smart" thing since otherwise they can't attract attention....

On Sunday 19.08.2018 we used probably the last nicer weekend, drove to Mangart saddle, officially the path over the landslide (nothing dangerous) to the saddle is closed but still traffic like in cities. We continued the path - descent to Nogara bivouac, ascent via ferrata, quite a few of us on the ferrata, gear in much better condition than years ago, then Slovenian way to the top and descent Italian path. What all you see on these paths (not ferrata), no helmet, no harness, not speaking of shoes. At saddle by ferrata family sat - (foreigners CZ or SK), boy happily threw stones over edge into ferrata gully, other case on path above road, boy happily with mom threw stones down grass which rolled to road, on warning they stopped. Should warn these "tourist hikers" a bit on behavior in mountains.

Naprosyn, you're comparing the Gradiška tour with the ferrata to Češka koča. The Gradiška tour is similar to the second part of the Češka ferrata, except the entry to the second part - much harder, the first part is much more demanding than Gradiška.
