Wonderful peter2! I saw the ptarmigan last summer on Hribarice too. In summer I often see it on high mountain tours. Winter colored one not yet.

@skalaš70, even with the capercaillie the saying holds: Early hour, golden hour. I've met him several times and watched his "dance". Mostly on clearings where he has enough dance floor. Of course in spring, during mating season, when he's "blind" to surroundings and allows us close encounters.

This piglet lives in captivity, taken from its natural environment 
It still startles at dog barking, pauses for a moment and "pricks up" its ears, because it's bothersome.
A wild boar wouldn't bring a piglet so close to houses in broad daylight.
