Yes, climbing rope 70m, I got it in the Arco shop a good 40 euros cheaper than it would be here.

Mate, for solid gear for winter ascents you'll pay at least 500 euros. And let anyone else tell you that proper gear is key. In winter no more tracksuit and summer shoes and helmet, if you get me... My offer still stands!

mountain lover I also fly paraglider and watch various paraglider closures on YouTube, but when it closes on me while I'm alone in the air, those videos can't help me at all - PRACTICE is what matters.

Mountain lover, if Juš obviously really invites you, then make a deal ... in my opinion you'll get a completely different view on winter ascents. You'll surely be satisfied.

You can't learn this alone, someone experienced must be with you to show it to you a few times and then you try yourself. Until you learn proper crampon walking, you'll keep sliding down slopes, which can be fatal. Last season I saw with my own eyes a guy sliding down Turski žleb, he got off "well" because he survived the slip. A month and a half later someone slipped in the same spot but didn't survive. Think well if you'll learn these skills alone or with someone experienced. Best regards, Jure

I don't understand you and your comments Can you be so kind and explain to me in a simpler way what you wanted to say with your reply, because I really don't understand you. I already know that I know how to "read" anyway Every one of my comments and posts intended for you is just well-meaning! Best, Jure

Mountain lover, it seems senseless to me that with all questions you list exactly those mentioned tours as an argument in the topic, how capable you are or how capable someone else is. Isn't it easier to write that your brother who already has some experience will introduce you to winter ascents? No hard feelings, but day by day I observe your writing (as probably everyone on this forum) and somehow can't decide where to put you. A few pages back you precisely lectured someone what to buy for winter ascents, then you yourself needed advice what to buy. For all who need useful tips, better hold back in future if you only know something in outline or don't know it at all. And no hard feelings.

Let the topic go in this direction: Equipment for winter mountain hiking ascents.

Hey don't complicate it. Buy basic equipment, ice axe, crampons, helmet. Given that you have a brother who's more experienced, I don't know what's the problem that he wouldn't lend them to you? Or does he also have you in the trunk like people on the forum? When snow conditions are at 1st or at most 2nd level go to Kamniško sedlo. If it's too hard for you, then it's just not for you. If you'll enjoy it, next time go to Kokrško sedlo. Then you step up.... I don't know what's such a big problem to go to a course where you learn the basics, and if you're not too uptight you'll also meet good company. The most senseless is if some "ignorant" know-it-alls from the forum gather and you do some foolishness. A group gives "false" security

LG, when will you get it that here they just want to help you by telling you to BUY / BORROW EQUIPMENT AND GO TO A COURSE. Who, when and where they are held you can find on the net (also there were posts on this site), which you master. For unfriendly comments you're to blame yourself with your writing and posts full of contradictions. I doubt you understand them yourself the next day. Best regards. PS Sometimes it'd be better if you just post photos Best regards
