We two took 6 hours up and down, a bit annoying from Abram to Nanos if wet (muddy forest paths), but survivable. It adds up to (if you believe Garmin) good 25 km and around 1400 positive meters.

But where did you walk to rack up so many km.

Along the marked trail Or a bit more on the road where the path was too torn up. It's not that much if you have to get back to the car too. Falls into "a slightly longer walk". Mine asked me at the end if there's a longer path on Nanos, I was better off staying quiet. After all it's the hill of my childhood. Walked all over it lengthwise and crosswise.

Pity such a constructive debate on the last Nanos problem just fizzled out. There are still quite a few unresolved questions e.g.: At what age does a child get the right to express their trip impressions and be praised for success or: Which forum bum will hand out permits-who where when how with whom can go recreating in the hills. But I imagine the kids having a blast hanging on the cables and spitting under the wall between their legs. Those walking times from BT88 don't fit my frame since for up down (P/P) I used a whole hour (climbing path is 9min) and same for Nanos.

can someone tell me a difficulty comparison between Gradiška tour and ascent between Kredarica and Triglav?

hribar.. Gradiška tour is probably a bit more demanding!Less crumbly and has a bit fewer holds. For your safety it's right to have a via ferrata set and helmet. And not for the dizzy! Maybe someone will write more professionally but it's nothing special for experienced mountaineers even less experienced if they have good climbing coordination. For the inexperienced it can be a problem and it's almost better they don't attempt it!

actually I'm interested in the opposite. I've done Gradiška already, I want to do Triglav.

Triglav is quite a bit easier.

But it's just a tiny bit longer! On Triglav of course.

Hribar, I'd say the difficulty is comparable. Years ago I even advised one colleague that if she wants to go to Triglav via Kredarica, we first go together on Gradiška tour as a test for Triglav. Of course she succeeded both. Gradiška might be harder, in terms of the entry part, and that's all that differentiates them.

Gradiška tour is quite harder than Triglav since there are several spots that are quite exposed. Even starting from entry point and continuing over twenty meters vertically - you need quite some arm strength, under the balcony there's also exposed section. From balcony around "tooth" onwards on the slab and a bit higher exposure is big... Crumblyness is moderate. In the wall itself not big but in upper part... Whether we admit or not, Gradiška tour although half shorter than Kredarica-Triglav path is quite harder than it and good test for those tackling very demanding climbing paths (beginners), among others those planning Triglav...

On this beautiful, slightly windy day, David and I climbed the Gradiška Tour again. There was no crowd on the path despite full parking lot. But I must warn that it was somewhat dangerous, especially descending the same path, again because of senseless people seeking new variants and throwing down not stones but real small rocks. Ah, yeah....camera stayed home. Next time!

With companion we went to Primorska first for the last stamp in green booklet(full) to Trstelj then to Gradiška Tour, which is short but demanding...

The first and last part of the ferrata is steep and can be very dangerous for many.

Especially full of "hikers"(at least Sunday it was), who aren't up to it, if I was alone clipped to the cable the path would lose charm for me and be like a forest walk, but it bothers me how many there are.

in the car you're also not buckled up, because you wouldn't trust your own driving abilities. The bigger the crowd, the greater the chance of becoming a victim, especially here, where there are also climbing crags around.

Hehe VanSims, if this gent surprised you on Gradiška... imagine how the team in Čopov pillar looked when Pavle Kozjek zipped past on now almost legendary solo descent thru mentioned route?
